Immigrants from Kazakstan are probably "Russland-Deutsche" - people from German origin, who were originally invited by the Tsar to colonise thinly populated areas in Russia from the 18th century on and had been deported to the east by Stalin in WW II.

I confirm this as kazakh living in Kazakhstan. After collapse of the soviet union, all the post soviet countries were in bad economic conditions and ethnical germans poured into germany. I myself had friends who emmigrated to Germany.

Something's not right here. According to Czech statistics, there are 292 000 Czechs living abroad, and according to German statistics, there are about 60 000 Czechs living in Germany. So where did the 521,000 Czechs in Germany come from? And why would they come to Germany in such numbers after 2000?

the numbers are false. millions of russians came to germany in the 90s. more then 1,5 million syrians migrated to germany in 2015, 2016 alone. in 2023 1,6 million turkish citizen in germany were able to cast their vote for the turkish elections. then there are those that have german citizen or are not 18 years old yet.

Yeah, we just don't make a fuss about it. We're in the middle of the continent and have always been affected heavily by migration since ancient times. Nothing new to us.
I'm from Munich and grew up with children of immigrants from Turkiye, Greece, Italy, former Yugoslavia, Hungary, Russia, Vietnam, France, USA and the UK at normal public schools in average areas of the town and I used to babysit the baby of a Polish family in the neighborhood. As a young adult I shared my flat with people from Peru and China.
Today about 50% of the inhabitants of Munich have at least one foreign grandparent and about 25% of the population of Munich are foreigners.

Those statistics are not correct. The Turcs alone count for more than 4.000.000. There were different waves of immigrants.
