    Thank you very much for your positive videos and for sharing your knowledge with us ❤️ I hope you don't mind me asking... How do you stay sane and positive in our insane world full of suffering? I mean we hear every day about fires and millions of animals are dying, wars and millions of people are dying, climate change, fear of the third world war, animals extincting, pollution of the mother earth, scientists predicting the end of the human race. The list can go on and on and on... It's super challenging for me to live in the world full of suffering. I always felt the pain of those who suffer and it makes me so sick and sad to know that so many animals suffer because of the humans.. I feel myself hopeless. That's why I wanted to ask you how you guys find your light in our crazy world full of pain?
    Thank you for your time ❤️ Sat Nam

    • @RefeelYoga
      @RefeelYoga  Před 2 lety +1

      Dear Alexa, I'm sorry that your experience of empathy is overwhelming you to the point of feeling hopeless. On one hand it's such a beautiful experience to understand and be compassionate to the suffering of others, yet on the other hand if you're taking on all the suffering, and feel like you cannot handle it, it's not serving you or anyone else.
      In every aspect of life there is light and dark, it must be so for this Universe as we know it to exist. However what is "out there" and what our experience is "inside" don't always match up. Heaven and hell are internal experiences, based on our perception of the way things are, the way things ought to be, or our level of consciousness.
      Let me give you a few examples. Take the idea of eating meat. To some it's a wonderful experience, nutritious and vitalizing, very pleasant. To other's it's a grotesque and violent act against animals. While to others it may potentially be a natural food with a good source of nutrients, but has been polluted by the hormones, genetic modification and other methods used in the way animals are grown for food. Same situation, with 3 very difference perceptions.
      Take the example of the inevitable end of the world. For some it could not even be a possibility, or it's so far in the future that there's no point to even consider it. For some there is a powerful attachment to humanity, the planet, plants and animals, etc. and the idea of the world ending is a crippling experience of fear, shame, guilt, and the idea that "it's my fault". While for others the end of the world can be seen as an inevitable and unavoidable event, another aspect of life, death and rebirth.
      The same example can apply to death, be it one's own death or the death of a loved one. Some people choose to avoid the concept of death, choosing ignorance and believing that as long as they don't think about it, it will never happen. Some live their whole lives with the fear of death lurking in the shadows and it can manifest in them as the inability to risk anything, they may avoid relationships for fear of losing a loved one, they may become overly attached in the hopes that the more they love, the less likely God will take away their beloved. They may never live life fully for fear of enjoying or accomplishing too much and losing it or they may work so hard to secure some sense of safety, through money, possessions, knowledge, etc. that they miss out on other aspects of life. All spiritual systems teach the contemplation of death for exactly this reason! The acceptance of death as inevitable can be a great practice to raise ones consciousness, to realize the impermanence of everything, the wheels and cycles of time, and to become kind, loving and fully involved in appreciating the brevity of the present moment.
      It's not the first time you've left us a comment like this. So I want to say to, to be more direct to your question as to how we are able to stay positive.
      Being empathic and compassionate to the sufferings of the world is already and admirable level of consciousness. But consciousness can expand farther than that. Empathy does not need to be crippling. You can feel anothers pain, without it taking away your one personal power. You can help others from the goodness of your heart without it being a draining experience.
      I would highly recommend you to read the book "Letting Go" by David Hawkins. This is an amazing, powerful book that I think would be very beneficial to you. amzn.to/3vjUmxo
      I would also encourage you to join level 2 of our Journey Through the Chakras. In this level we focus on various "shadow work" practices for healing emotional wounds and traumas. I think many of the practices could be very helpful for you in times when you're feeling overwhelmed by the suffering of the world, to process those emotions and come to a place of acceptance and peace.
      It will be releasing very soon. So if you're on our mailing list you will be notified, or else you will see some posts on the channel and our facebook ;)
      Lastly, one thing everyone could choose to do, to experience more of the light of the world, is to avoid any source of mainstream media. The "news" is purely dark energy, highly manipulative, and watching (or reading) it for even a few minutes creates many tensions and disruptions in the natural flow of energy. I would strongly discourage everyone from watching mainstream media as this is a practice that lowers one's consciousness very fast.
      I hope this helps dear. If you want some more suggestions, or would like to have a conversation to go more in-depth, send us an e-mail. If you want we can set up a zoom call to have a chat. Clelia and I would be happy to offer you whatever we can.
      With love,
      Andrew & Clelia

      @@RefeelYoga hi beautiful souls, thank you thank you thank you for your reply ❤️❤️❤️ it took me some time to process it but I think slowly I'm getting it. Even as a child I got it because in my fav book of all times was written the following : "But would you kindly ponder this question: What would your good do if
      evil didn't exist, and what would the earth look like if all the shadows
      disappeared? After all, shadows are cast by things and people. Here is the
      shadow of my sword. But shadows also come from trees and living beings.
      Do you want to strip the earth of all trees and living things just because
      of your fantasy of enjoying naked light? You're stupid. " As a child I got it but as we all grow up some of us stop listening to their souls and instincts and start using their logical brain more and more. Which isn't always a good thing.
      It makes absolutely sense that without suffering we could never enjoy the happiness. We who are privileged to live in the first world countries as they call it (horrible definition though) don't appreciate what we have because we don't have anything to compare with. We complain, want more and it's never enough.
      I was born and raised in Siberia and sometimes I have a feeling that people are much happier there than in Europe where I live now. Because people from the third world countries know what the suffering is (talking about the balance in the universe) and they can truly enjoy when something good happens on their lives.
      It's still a hard pill to swallow that some innocent souls suffer for nothing. But I kind of feel that there is must be a reason to it.. It sounds way too spiritual but I am 99,9% sure that all living beings choose their path in this world and some of us chose the suffering path for a reason. My logical brain disagrees with it of course, but I'm going to practice kundalini now and will try to come with it at peace 😁
      Thank you for sharing your light with the world ❤️
      Thank you for being you ❤️

      @@RefeelYoga May i ask your advice on help with extremely stiff hamstrings ( like steel cord 😅) and painful hips, i have been practising for well over a year and i have marked improvements in flexibilty and strength but i seem to have stone walled in certain areas, am working with a body that has suffered nerve damage and has produced 7 beautiful children , 3 c sections included plus numerous other surgical traumas . I am physically strong however and am in very good health, i just really would love to progress into deeper poses and flows 🙏 i have fallen in love with kundalini and your lessons are so beautiful, this was very long 😅 thank you for reading 💕🙏

      @@kizzthecrowdady6421 There's no need to apologize for sharing your story. I am very happy to hear from you and will always do my best to respond to every comment... even if it take a couple days ;)
      I think it's so beautiful that through all the challenges you are taking the time to focus on your healing and strength. Keep at it. Some things change quicker than others, but everything can be adjusted, adapted and healed in time.
      As for your hamstrings, or any other places you feel this "wall", I truly believe the best way to work through these blocks is to take the time to go deeply into a pose, stay there and be completely present. Allow whatever is coming, it may be tightness, it may be vibrations, it can be nausea, dizziness, anger, tears... the longer we stay in a pose, with presence and allowance, the more will release. But we need to give it time.
      If you've never held any longer poses I recommend to start at 2-3min. See how that is. In time build your way up to 5min. The poses that will help you the best are the seated forward folds, paschimottanasa and janusirsasana. Try this class for Muladhara Chakra, you will be able to access it because you're a member ;)
      czcams.com/video/_RjmMrbGUP0/video.html
      Let me know how it goes. And remember patience and presence will take the furthest.
      With love,
      Andrew

    Thank you so much Andrew what a great way to go to bed it is so wonderful i feel like i just smoke weed 😄..
    During the Asana my lower back was very painful i could feel something moving around my lower back kidney area but very very painful then it went away and all of a sudden i felt very cold like my feet and hand was like ice .
    Do you know why this happened i am still cold i had to go put shocks and 2 jumper on me to warm up .

    • @RefeelYoga
      @RefeelYoga  Před 3 lety +1

      It's very interesting. I cannot tell you exactly why this has happened but I assume there has been some big movement of energy. To go through this strong pain and then have it just suddenly disappear is usually a great sign of some release. Good job on observing the pain!
      I assume as well the cold will pass, it's likely another phase of this energy moving. Sometimes we get pain, sometimes fever, sometimes rash or nausea. So for sure also we can get cold.
      On a side note: It's funny you say you feel like you just smoked weed! When I used to smoke many years ago, I would often get the feeling that my hands and feet were super cold! Maybe I was having a similar energy move then, as you are now ;)

    hi I was just wondering if all kriyas are meant to be practiced, for 40 days? I cant find the awnser anywhere

    • @RefeelYoga
      @RefeelYoga  Před 3 lety +1

      In short, no. Some people like to take up the challenge on specific practices that they are drawn to, and there are some of Yogi Bhajan's sequences that he recommends to do for 40 days. But I would definitely not say that all kriyas are meant to be done daily for such long periods. Some are too intense and some are just not necessary to be done so often.
      It depends what you want to create for yourself. If you lack willpower or determination, then taking a 40 day "tapas" will be extremely hard... but will also benefit you greatly. If you really want to experience a certain practice, really get to "know" it, then making it your daily practice is necessary. But personally would choose one or two specific techniques - like a certain meditation, pranayama, or breathing technique that I would work on every day - yet continue to have diversity in the rest of my practice to keep some balance. But that's my personality. I need some variety to keep my aspiration.
      If you feel better to do the same thing every day and that helps you stay focused then do what feels right for you.
      No matter what you choose, at some point it's going to bring it's challenges. So I say to choose what you like best, that way when the challenges arise it will be easier to go through and maintain the practice
