      Joseph M Well, Gojira have this ability to sound heavy without being heavy you feel me? I am sure that they will have some heavy songs on the upcoming album tho, they always had a good mix of different songs on their albums as I said.

      I actually think the Death Metal label on them is a little misplaced. Their hearts lie with some softer stuff, which was, in hindsight, pretty obvious even on Terra Incognita.

    • @Conundrums._
      @Conundrums._ Před 3 lety

      LRed13 I wouldn’t say that, I would call them Technical Death if anything. Death metal at heart but definitely exploring

    • @lred1383
      @lred1383 Před 3 lety

      @@Conundrums._ Listen to: Necrophagist, Archspire, Beyond Creation. That's tech death. There's nothing "tech" about Gojira, their riffs are incredibly simple, and they have no solos. And they really don't feel like death metal anymore, too... conventional. Too normal in the eyes of a non-metalhead. Not heavy enough.
      I think they started out as DM, but Magma is NOT a DM album.

    • @Conundrums._
      @Conundrums._ Před 3 lety

      LRed13 tech death is about exploring outside of just normal death metal. And even if they aren’t who cares. Listen to the art of dying, ocean planet, only pain, all songs with rather weird riffs. In the end, Gojira is gonna do what Gojira wants to do and it’s going to be Damn good songs either way.

  • @alemutasa6189
    @alemutasa6189 Před 3 lety +34

    Gojira's music has this great transformative value that, frankly, is impossible to find in mainstream and less known artists. I mean, you can listen to heavy shit by them like Vacuity or Backbone and get into Another World straight away without some "palate cleanser" or some other song to smooth out the transition, because the heart they put into their music is the same and they make sure you FEEL it and enjoy it like nothing you've ever listened to. God I love Gojira

    Please make a reaction to a young, very popular singer in world. Videos from this singer collect hundreds of millions of views. Diana Ankudinova is now only 17 years old. She has a very unique, very deep, clear voice.
    Dr. Marc Reynolds (Voice Teacher, Stage Director, Performance Coach and Consultant, and Acting Coach) said about the performance of this girl:
    Really really exceptional! Even if you ignore her age, even is she was 10, 20, 30 years older, this is still a really exceptional performer here that we're seeing. But at her age, unbelievable. Really really exceptional! Absolutely gorgeous! And again, not just because of her voice, because her performing, watching how nuanced and engaging her performance is. Ah, it's just so stunning. Hey man great work! I think I've watched every one of your videos! I know you have been keeping constant with the reaction theme, but i think i speak for most people who watch your channel, that if you started a new segment on maybe "Vocal Analysis" of great songs that we've all seen, it would go over great. My personal favorite that i would love to see you break down is "The Silent Life by Rivers of Nihil" (sax players holla). Mostly because I believe most of us extremely appreciate your vocal analysis and have allowed most of us deeper insight into the vocal world that i didn't even know existed before i found your channel.

There's also plenty of other perks and bonuses that our Patreon can grant you access to - check it out here: www.patreon.com/kardavoxacademy?fan_landing=true

      @@KardavoxAcademy One year ago i had commented about your nice voice. With your crazy techniques it makes sense that you teach. I has written this too i think like many other comments saying the same haha.
      Viraemia pretty insane. Not my style but really well done and impressive vocally. The music is crazy. As a lightworker i try to step away from very dark energy vibes but i can recognize the good work.
      I checked behind leaves and vines, it's weird there's a scream in your intro and at the end of this video after you say ''i step into the light'' but not on the official track. This track is really good.
      In the baring of shadows you did some beautiful polyphonic vocals, like religious choirs from monks.
      I wish you had put the time stamp so that i know quickly what's the name of the song is.
      I enjoyed a lot the clean vocals in beyond Sun and moon. I liked between sea and sky too. Ive never been a fan of harsh vocals growling but you're a master with your different techniques. For my personal taste i like when it's balanced with clean vocals or the kind of harsh vocals by Joseph D or Chester B.
      I will have to check more songs by Kardashev, i didn't check everything.
      I still wonder why there are not the screams in the official video of behind leaves and vines.
      I used to produce some music in France mainly jazz and electro.
      With a great singer like you man your band could go more mainstream and make money. You have so much potential that is not exploited imo.
      If you made some songs with a well defined verse/chorus structure, a style like Gojira does in stranded or silvera for the verses vocally or slipknot for the chorus of unsainted or killswitch engage with dynamic beautiful clean vocals for the chorus you would go to the roof with your voice. Your band surely has the ability to create hits.
      From what i heard the potential is there with the music, the cool lyrics, your voice, your sense of melody.

    This is the Great thing about metal ,just like classical music, it not the same 4 cords over and over, like pop music, many cord changes throughout all metal song.just a thought, do your research about this , it is fascinating.
