The new tune does well but the 33s hold it back should I put some smaller stocks and see what the top speed it let me no in the comments and also let me know if there is another spot that could be leaking That is letting water in my belt box.

Down here in Fl we drive them across rivers and lakes high gear only, low is for towing. Belt slip, pop the cover off and put dielectric grease around it pop i back on.

@@TURBOATVS how did the header and pipe slip on fit. I’ve seen a couple of peoples videos say the slip on by it’s self doesn’t fit good. Seems like it’s made to be installed as full system.
@@travisprice6605 it went on pretty good the full system were built for each other I believe the slip on is built for the stock headers

I went with the stock sportsman gear all the parts I used for it are in the description

Yep it was a good race need to get some trail tires for my highlifter so i can see how fast it really go those 33s BKTS slow it down a lot

@@katelynsfunandfriends7149 yea the stage 3 tune from Rvs is a huge difference on the highlifter there is no reason for a 1000 pound Atvs to be going over 80 mph but I like speed 🤷♂️😂

Hey did high gear swap how do I get that tune
Do you have other mods on the atv? Or just with the tune you were able to get that speed? Mine tops out at 50mph
Yea I did the high gear swap you want go past 50 without doing it
Yes you can go pass 50mph without doing the gear swap just get your ECU itself programmed

@@jlwoutdoors6681not true the stock high lifter has a 50 percent gear reduction in high no bypass other than moving the rev limiter up but that won't get much

I let a dealer do mines but a CZcamsr name mud puppy made a tutorial video on it
Top speed with that tune ?
Around 70-75 on 34s on stocks It will run 90mph
What do you know about the dyno jet power commander V is it good for 2016 highlighter 1000 xp?
I heard a lot of good things about it and if you let a person who knows about tuning tune it for you you can make a lot of power with it
You probably won’t get much top speed from a highlifter regardless. Gear reduction is going to keep it low, it’s geared to turn heavy tires in the mud. Then if I heard right you have a clutch kit as well that will hurt top end speed too.
Yea I switch to a stock sportsman high gear and kept the low gear the same for mud but I got a clutch kit anyways

Stage 3 tune from RVS Performance
Was the stage 3 tune from rvs the only thing you had to do after the gear swap to get rid of the rev limiter? My reverse chain broke so I’m about to do the gear swap since I’m already in the transmission but I didn’t know what else I would need done to get more speed.
@@LongingToHunt you only need to do the gear swap to get over 50 mph if you do a tune you will get more throttle response and more speed but you don’t need the tune

i think someone isn't taking their time sealing that box period....ive seen guys just use marine grease instead of rtv but on the backside you use black rtv
I had a dealer do it for me don’t like messing with it they say they did but it still leaks gonna check it out myself
