For your next reaction (-s) you might go back to her career-start in public as she signed in to audition for the "Norwegian Talents" show (NGT) in 2014 as she still was 7 years old, and she turned 8 during the months of the show. Her audition song was "Gloomy Synday" and then "I`m A Fool To Want You". Both covers of Billie Holiday`s version of the songs.
In the semifinal she covered Nancy Sinatra`s version of "Bang Bang - my baby shot me down".

Angelina is a very good story teller... She's good in spoken words. If you watched one of her Elvis Presley cover where there are spoken lyrics...you will be amazed. When she read her diary entry about the shoeless girl she met in one interview she made me feel her sincerity even if it's written in Norwegian. She is amazing in delivering words. She knows how, when to give weight on words or phrases. She's good in convincing people.... Add that to her God given talent talent in singing and we have our Angelina now. That's the only explanation I could think of.... If it's not, she must be something else.
Angelina's style is unique to her. She gets some voice teachers as well for sure but their job must have been just to support her way of singing. As one of her vocal teacher said if they teach Angelina the normal way of learning they might just ruin her authenticity. So their job most probably is just to enhance the already great vocals of her.
One of the best aspects of this song for me is that it was not a cover. Some people complain about her copying her influences (Adel, Amy, Billie). At 10 years old and no one to follow she came up with this masterpiece of expression, astounding!
Actually, this is a demo of a song she was asked to sing. Original by Baby Fuzz, his version is ok, lots of production, sound affects, etc. Nothing like this version, which could have been a chart topper.

(Yes Angie calls her true fans, Angels) They're are fake fans (trolls) so be aware of them. “I'm Still Holding out for You” This was recorded when Angie was 10 almost 11 (it was used as a demo. Her mom didn't like a line in it (the holding down under water reference), so it was never released as a single) This song is by Brandon Lowry better known as Sterling Fox & aka Baby Fuzz & co-writers Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen.
Baby fuzz did this during a music workshop back in 2016 in Norway. (No one was interested at the time) then Angie did the demo for it in 2016 & it was leaked 2 years later around Nov 2018. He wont change the lyrics to the song or let others do so. He released it as an original in Dec 2018. Angelina recorded this demo a week before her 11th birthday of this beautifully written song by Brandon Lowry (aka Baby Fuzz) and a couple others. This recording was never officially released but someone leaked it. The world is extremely grateful that everyone involved is now ok with this video being on CZcams. I think it is a vocal masterpiece that could be a huge hit.
Vocal masterpiece indeed. I have my own theory on this. We know the whole suicide story is bogus, as AJ has tackled adult themed songs like Gloomy Sunday and Back to Black. I believe after recording this demo, everyone knew it was a masterpiece, however, aftet being bombarded by record labels for 2 years after winning NGT, the family needed to get back on their original plan and keep Angie in school and let stardom wait. This song, had it been officially released would have forced them off their plan. Aside from record label heads. There would be all media types, lawyers, marketing people, agents, venues, and fans to deal with, and even songwriters. This is a wonderful family and they have done a remarkable job to this point. We know what we have in AJ, and we just need to be patient. My only negative, and its minor, is that I am not a fan of her blue eyes in the Tik Tok videos.

The dynamics within Angelina's family is a lesson for all parents and children. We have parents, grandparents and uncles all recognising the special talent of a child and giving her the freedom to pursue her dream while ensuring there is enough discipline to hold her back in order that she can experience a normal life, and a young child who has the maturity and wisdom to accept that the path they have chosen for her is the correct one. All children deserve such a family.
I concur with the comments others have made about Angelina and her "blue" eyes. Teenage years are for experimenting. Better that she does it in this way rather than doing so with drugs or outright rebellion of all the norms. In my view, she set up her TikTok account as an avenue to see just how far she could go. As an aside, I am not particularly fond of her TikTok performances of "Go easy on me". I see on Facebook she has visited Republic Records Studio to sing this song and I note that she is barefoot, which indicates a live performance. This means she has given a great deal of thought to how she will perform the song, and I bet it will not be like the TikTok one.

But since she was 10 years old she was in school and was really just living a normal life as a 10 year old. Sang Whitney Houston with a mike at 18 months. It's on you tube! When asked how could she sing these songs so emotionally when she has never been in these situations she says when she starts to sing she goes off to someplace where it is beautiful and it comes naturally to her. But, as soon as the song is over she can revert back to being a young girl. Literally born to sing and it seems not only is she singing 'to us' but she is also singing 'for us'. Her confidence is abundant, her focus is extraordinary, her lyrical interpretation is beyond comprehension. She rearranges covers since she was 9 years old. The members of the bands she sings with have been calling her 'the boss' and they absolutely love working with her. She definitely knows what she is doing. But, let's all agree, her soulful, jazzy voice is so unique it grabs us and there is no escape. Goosebumps, tearing up (with the urge to cry) and being unable to string words together to make sentences during or right after she sings are indications she is in your heart and her love will never leave you.
There is so much more for you gals to listen to. Join all of us on her journey to wherever she will take us. She'll be 16 in January and, perhaps, sooner than we think she will be officially marketed to the world and won't that be something spectacular! But, it is important to note all of her music since she was 6 years old should never be forgotten particularly since she turned 10. When she turned 10 she jumped up to another level and began to challenge the great artists who performed some of the covers she was recording. There is lot of misinformation about this song that is floating around.
What we know for sure is that Brandon Lowry (Baby FuZZ) wrote this song with Frida Amundsen, Aksel Carlson,and Ronny Janssen. A demo was produced but not released by Baby FuZZ. The song was shopped around to different artists for possible recording. Angelina recorded a demo but also did not release it. It was leaked by someone who managed to access the computer file where it was stored. Baby FuZZ heard Angelina's demo only after it was leaked. All the talk about the suicide lyrics is nothing but speculation. Neither Angelina or anyone associated with her indicated that. Baby FuZZ in an interview said that there were no discussions about the song between him and Angelina's team. He was getting lots of abuse on CZcams for the mistaken belief that he prevented her from changing the lyrics. He was very impressed by her performance but threatened to block the song if the online abuse continues which he really didn't want to do that because he supports young and upcoming artists. When no real interest was shown by any artist to record this song, he recorded it himself and released it. We probably can say that he covered his own song. LOL.
We are grateful to him for not blocking Angelina's demo.
What is the reason that Angelina didn't release this song? We will never know unless she or her manager say why.

Angelina refers to her fans as her "Angels". You were right that she started singing at 18 months (there's a video); with a microphone in her hand, she was covering Whitney's "I Will Always Love You". She was 10 (almost 11) when this demo was "leaked" almost two years after she recorded it. Some have hypothesized that she didn't release it herself because her family objected to the suicide implication at the end. But there is no evidence of that being true. Actually, it was never hers to release because the composer (Brandon Lowery aka Baby Fuzz) and copyright owner had never released his version, or okayed any other. His version was released almost a month after this was leaked. When he heard the leaked video he had the authority to have it removed, but he liked it so much the left it up. After all, it's his song, and he new just how good Angelina's version is. For me, and many of her fans, it's one of the Best things she's ever done. Brandon Lowry (Baby Fuzz) wrote the song with cowriters Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen in 2016. Due to lack of interest in this song, Brandon recorded and released the song himself in 2018. The three cowriters are considered to be the initiators of the demo recording, the three are also the cowriters of Angelina's original "Shield". According to Brandon Lowry on his YT channel, he has never had contact with Angelina or her team. He only heard Angelina's version on YT in 2018 and was thrilled. Brandon Lowry complained that he was attacked and insulted because of the rumors. I suspect that this is why the comment function was deactivated. I guess you have to have good relationships with the studio in order to be able to publish this high quality demo recording on YT. So the story about her not wearing shoes : She was on vacation once when she was only 6 years old and saw a girl weighing people for money with a bathroom scale. She went up to the girl to weigh herself. She took of her shoes so the scale wouldn't get dirty and weighed herself. They started talking and Angelina noticed that the girl weren't wearing shoes and she had soars and blisters on her feet. Angelina then gave the shoes she was wearing to the girl. Angelina asked what the girl wanted to be when she grew up and the girl said she wanted to be a doctor when she grew up. But the girl said that thats probably not going to happen.. Angelina then said follow you dreams and never give up (something like that i cant remember.)
And after that she has never hasn't been wearing shoes and said she will not wear shoes until every kid in the world has shoes. And she had stuck to that. She performed outside in Norway in November when it was snowing. I live in Norway and trust me its cold in the winter...
And by not wearing shoes she is thinking about that girl when she is on stage singing.
Angelina actually wrote a book about this and is the youngest in Norway to ever publish a book at 9 years old.. Its called mellom to hjerter (between two hearts).

You can see improvement in each recording and by the time she finished Rolling in the Deep she had found her element and was in command. Looking back again that isn't true. Angelina had amazing control and understanding as well as a powerful and beautiful voice, if just a little bit showing her age, on the very first song 'I Who Have Nothing'! 6 yrs old. You have to love seeing her first Jump and silent cheer which showed her excitement after delivering that first chorus. She kept that enthusiasm through the rest of her performances. The beautifully clear performance of Rolling in the Deep reflects that.. This was when her journey in her recording career started! IMO Hope I got the sequence right. I think I did. Enjoy!

I'm still holding out for you song written by Brandon Lowry( also goes by Baby Fuzz), Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen they went to 10-year-old Angelina with it and Angelina made this audio cut (pictures were added later by a fan "great job") but Angelina's family didn't like the ending lyrics referencing suicide and asked for a lyric change from the authors and they refused so Angelina stored her audio cut. (The song was released by Baby Fuzz later)Then the audio cut was leaked, (pirated) from Angelina later on, also Angelina has stated she would never sing the song again. Brandon Lowry (it is sed Lowery has no problem) with the U-tube video being used. It's a terrible shame as it could have been a mega-hit. It's my favorite AJ song, what a shame about the drama.

As I said, great reaction, but... the explanation you gave as to why it was never released is just something that was made up and repeated so often, that everyone thinks it must be true. There was never a reason given as to why the song didn't go any further than being a demo. Now, if you would like to see Angelina do a song that isn't her 'normal' style, check out a song that was written for her to sing, by a fellow Norwegian duo called TRxD. The release has nothing to do with the lyrics or her family not allowing it. This was written by Baby Fuzz & collabed with some others. The song was passed around to see who was willing to sing it. Hence Angelina made a demo for them. It got shelved. Understand that most singer/song writers are under recording labels. Angelina wasn't signed to any label at 10 or 11 when this was recorded. Nor would she be signed to any label at this age either as her parents said she was too young. This recording collected dust until 2 yrs ago when Baby Fuzz decided to record his song himself. That's when someone leaked it at the same time. The only reason her fans are able to hear this is that Baby Fuzz after hearing this decided her version did justice to his song. So it didn't get blocked. Side note, if you want to get picky over lyrics about suicide, she did Gloomy Sunday by Billie Holiday on Norway's Got Talent at 7. It too is about suicide. I read up on the back history on this piece from a commenter from another reviewer, who interviewed both Baby Fuzz & Angelina's people. I'm terrible at remembering names, so I can't give this person's name to reference. Angelina will never perform this number again. Copyright issues. Writers of music do get residuals as well as the performer each time it's played. It's the business end that shelved this in the first place. Also, when Angelina decides to do a song she does it, even if her mother doesn't like all the lyrics. All Angelina does, is make changes. Then it gets recorded.

People are too sensitive about song lyrics. Lyrics (in general) are works of fiction. They are pretend.... Regardless, song lyrics have always covered 'adult' topics of life and death and we all made it through childhood unscathed by songs.
