    Kirk, what a beautiful machine for flying hunters to a remote location. You make flying look so easy. Robert McNichols.

    Pretty aggressive incidence on the wing from the look of it, that would explain the great forward visibility on landing (as well as those epic flaps). It would also help explain the slow cruise speed.
    Are the tanks showing about half full in the sight gauge, and I wonder how much gas it carries?

    Can you put these on floats?

  • @onebadapple83

    Ya know.....Just one time.....I would like to see those expensive! high drag!!! Airstreaks actually being needed. The old fish haulers with a 210 could have landed and taken off 20% (or more) over gross from there. What tires did the Army use on their light aircraft in WWII Korea Vietnam? Great plane though! Love to have one!

      Right? My dad flew in Alaska from the early 70's to the mid 2000's and swore by his Wag-Aero 29" tires. He never would move up to the "balloon tires" all the other cub guys started getting in the late 90's.

    What is the cost to buy a plane like this? I know you can find 2 seat carbon cubs for $35,000 but can’t find Information on a 4 seater

    So it is a PA-14 Family Cruiser.

    • @bluehornet6752
      @bluehornet6752 Před 2 lety

      Not sure, but from what I've seen this thing's fuselage is wider than the 39" or so of a PA-14. At least that's what the Wag Aero 2+2 fuselage is, per their plans. It might be possible to widen their fuselage 1-2" though, both top and bottom (to be able to use stock lift struts), and get the 2+2 to where this thing looks to be. I haven't found a figure for the actual width of this thing's fuselage yet--although I'm sure it's out there.

    I can't see how you can morph it into a 4 seater with a huge cargo area and still think you have a "Cub"!!!!!
    That doesn't work for me.
