- I NEEDED THIS Ride On My Harley Street Bob 114!! I was able to finally get out on a great fall motorcycle ride on my Harley Street Bob 114. It's amazing what a great motorcycle ride can do you for you when you haven't been on the bike in a while. We'll take a ride from Philly out through Harrisburg and Hershey PA, to talk about what a good ride can do for you and take in some great scenery!

I went for a five hour ride on my own, got lost a few times, arrived at my destination and realized ill be riding home in the dark for a couple of hours all in 40 derees °F. Loved all of it. I cant hear my phone, no radio, no one can hear or ask anything of me. Loved every second.
I had to sell my 2017 softail slim for dogs medical needs. Had to go a year without two wheels. I was absolutely stir crazy! Bought a brand new street bob in May, and am loving it! Over the course of that year without, I rented Harley’s a few times just to tide me over.
How do you like the bob so far
You can get 🐶🐕 medical insurance for $250 a year. Hope your dogs are doing ok.
I’m very happy with it! Especially since I put on neighbor haters. 👍

I feel the same way taking my Street Bob out, but i barely have any miles under my belt and do not go far. I am stll a bit scared to go out too far being so new to riding, but for me a short ride makes me feel so much better. Theres something special about the feeling of my bike, the wind, the melodious rumble, and the great road ahead.
Thats good to practice. You'll love it even more once you get comfortable and out farther
Just look around your home town for points of interest and go visit them. Around Pittsburgh there's Cooper's Rock, Clark Gable's birthplace (it's a few miles from Custer's birthplace) and, if I feel adventurous, I will ride all the way to California. California, Pennsylvania, that is. It's a good ride along the river on Route 88.
I definitely agree! Between getting Covid for the fourth time, a cold and my 2022 Nightster still in for service to replace its fuel pump, I need a ride. The cold weather has arrived in western NC but I have heated gear.

One of my main ride routes is taking Rt 322 West from Downingtown out past Ephrata and back. Lots of farms to see and quiet roads. I get it.

Just rode to Bowman's hill tower this past sunday in PA since it was 80*. Great place and ride.

I get that "itch" after a week. As I WFH I get that itch. Here in Florida plenty of long flat roads minus the typical traffic. Windy therapy!!!!

I would say spring for the sb114 get the bigger engine
I have been riding my 1993 Heritage Softail for over 30 years now, and I still get withdrawals if I go too long without riding.

I planned to go for a ride last Friday but ended up Driving Miss Daisy instead. One more day before I give up and put it away for the winter.

@@TheMotoJawn I'll edit my comment. I used to calibrate the instruments at the Lebanon, PA wastewater treatment plant until 2008 and had to drop off Christmas presents in Gettysburg one year.

Yeah. I hate how anyone refers to the Street Bob as a “bar hopper.” You can catch a good ride on anything.
I'm 38 and want to get into riding now at 38 and yes and I am nuts.
