- Now there's probably small things I missed but you really get the full picture here. We are running a non-intercooled setup since we have it rear mounted and it keeps the ambient heat cooler than front mounted.

Your presentation was fantastic. You were clear, concise, and to the point. Excellent job.
Thanks man, I try
Sorry for the delay in uploads, gotta make money to fund these crappy cars lmao
Turbros Garage I plan on installing my zl1 blower on a trans am
Turbros Garage I have a Ls1 in a 86 Monte Carlo SS.Would you turbo it or run a Nos(100 to 150 shot) set up?Thanks & keep up the good work!!!
Thomas Shaw is run Nitrous if you want to keep it very tame and streetable and LS1s don't handle boost too well. I'd go 6.0 then boost it to make power above 550WHP
Turbros Garage wat bro can u make a turbo kit for a L's motor Monte Carlo 3.4
How much was your setup on your Tahoe? I have a 4 door Tahoe that wants this.
This is one of the best video explaining all the basic type of diy turbo stuff with no bs. Thank you for the lesson.
Yo dude, this is the first video of yours that I've seen, and I have to say, you're awesome man! Really enjoyed your presentation style, big ups bro.
Best tutorial out there talking to newbs (like me) in a way they can understand is really appreciated. Keep at it man! Making the car community grow like it should.
Most informative video I ever saw on turbos! Been thinking about boosting for a while but I couldn't find answers to some of my concerns. You just answered them all. Awesome. Thank you!
Thanks for the good info, you have taken a fairly complex mechanical system and made it easier to understand.
This cat is in love with this stuff, and is passionate about teaching it. What a gift! My dad said to me when I was a kid, he said "Earn your living doing something you love using your brain, but always know how to do something better than anyone else using your hands." I get it now.
Thanks for the great info! That WS6 catches my eye everytime man lol. Good stuff 👍
"Things that shouldn't be turboed" Everything should be turboed
He's kinda right tho, Cavaliers... heheheh.... But yeah, so are you... Ain't none wrong tho...
Good man; thank you
Turbo all the engines!
I'm planning to turbo my hyundai getz lol
Sounds like a challenge
Just found this channel and it's great. This was the 2nd video I watched after the sports bike swapped kids ATV. The turbo set-up on this truck is really legit and I'm about it. Always love seeing something different.
You are the man! Thank you for taking time out of your day to educate us on diy turbos. I've got 4 cars that need turbo charging =]
love your vids famo keep doin your thing my brotha...don't worry about the money famo CZcams don't have to pay you the money will come naturally just kus of your gift my brotha keep doin ya thang for the Tahoe boys out here bro
technically yea surge can hurt a compressor in theory, but it actually takes a good bit of it to really wear anything on the turbo, the main job of the blow off valve is to improve transient or on/off throttle response. when you are making boost and then let off to change gears or something, the blow off valve (when placed correctly like yours is) keeps the air flowing through the system with all of it's momentum so that when you get back on the throttle you don't have to start the air flowing through the whole system again. throttle opens again, BOV shuts and boom! you already have boost waiting at the throttle!
Have not ever heard of compressor surge hurting a turbo
NOT true whatsoever you clearly don't understand what the blow-off valve is for so please educate yourself before running mouth claiming you do..
@@strider5119 yeah its a common overblown myth.
I’ve got a 1995 dodge 2500 with a 8.0l v10 magnum and I’m putting an 80mm turbo in it and this video really helped me out! Thank you so much!

That was very good work and we'll thought out. You just clarified a lot of things for me that I thought I knew for being a car guy. For instance, I thought the blow off and waste gate were the same, now it's clear to me
That was a very well done presentation. I know a bit about turbos and how they work and feel like I still learned from you. Thank you

Awesome info! Im still planning my build and this was a great help!
I've dropped a few cams in a few of my cars and recently thought about doing the same to 93 Tahoe bit add a twin turbo, and meth injection. So I ended up coming across your video's. I plan on moving back down south soon so maybe I'll see y'all around.
Very good video dude, tons of useful information. Keep it up.
Great video in depth. Definitely subscribing
You've done a great job !!!!👍
It is fancy and special!!
finally somebody knows what they are talking about.Great video with no bullshit.every thing you say is exactly correct.thank you very much.
What a great video! Thank you for all the awesome information.
and that "sutututu" sound IS compressor surge, if you hear it on a car that uses a BOV then that means the BOV either isn't opening fast enough or isn't letting enough air out. preventing surge isn't the BOV's main job though, so that isnt neccicarily an issue, but if you're wanting better off/on throttle response from the turbo system and are experiencing surge then you can improve the situation a bit by increasing BOV flow and/or speeding up the BOV response with less spring pressure.
This video is great. I have a v6 charger thats awd and i wanna make more power without buying a new car. Gonna build a custom turbo kit on it. thanks for making a great video
Damn bro. You were built for this shit! I'd love to see a similar video on superchargers to get a feel for what is easier or better. Excellent job homie!

when running turbos in the rear, how do you get the oil to get back there and return from the turbo? A suplementary oil pump and scavenge return system?
Hella good video bro
