- This video shows you how to bleed the brake fluid on a 10th gen Honda Civic using the Motive Power Bleeder system all by yourself. Flushing or changing the brake fluid should be done every 2-3 years regardless of mileage to help with improving brake pedal feel (firmer instead of spongy).

I was dying when the syringe still had a cap on lol
Watching you gives me the confidence to work on my own car, thank you Sal!
Nice job Sal! That Motive Power Bleeder is a great tool. Especially handy if you don't have another person available to help out with the job. Thanks for showing us that, and also how easy it is to use. Interesting and unique bleed sequence for the Honda. Nice to know in case I ever end up doing one of these. Nice wallpaper for your infotainment screen too btw! 👍
helloSal, try a steelman pro slim head lite only the best will do for the best mechanic, thanks
Just had my brake fluid changed on my car. You're so right about the pedal being MUCH mORE sensitive and how it brings about more confidence in your brakes. Great video and DIY instructions
Hey bro, what’s your way to service the rear brake when there’s an electronic actuator? What’s your way to retract it?
Glad you mentioned the 5x parking brake. I tried skipping that my first flush and the brake pedal was a little soft. After cycling the electronic brake 5x and bleeding rear again the pedal was firm.
Its definitely important to follow the recommended procedure instead of assuming you know what youre doing. Nice job man!
Can you do a video on where you jack your car up and where you put your jackstands ?
Also to note, if your civic is a manual trans the clutch system/lines uses fluid from the brake reservoir as well. The slave cylinder has a bleeder valve as well where this procedure needs to be done. Not sure at what point though.
I was looking for a video of this procedure that used a pressure bleeder and actuated the parking brake 5X in the process and what to do with the bleeder. Thank you for showing the entire correct process!
Hey man, thanks for the video. This will help me when I install my ss brake lines.
Your content is awesome! Keep it up bro
