    i bought the gate remover set 2 weeks ago works good, but like you said, you want to use sanding sticks with it.

    Unless there is some serious adhesive on the material, a touch of something on top would probably increase effectiveness greatly. Its all about tension and friction after all. The Engineering concept is sound for what it is advertised for.

    for anyone curious about cheaper alternatives to this set, i have personally tested the riser against a glass nail buffer/file (DrMode Brand) and have found them to produce identical results. the glass nail buffer set is also under 10 dollars on amazon and comes in a pair, in case you break one. the balancer can be replicated cheaply with Melamine sponges. not sure about the cloth though...that one is still a work in progress.

    Been lookin at this thing for awhile but...meh. What I am interested in from them is The Void. Should help with sanding resin. Just waiting for it to go on sale. Curious about their panel line guides though. Nice to see them contact you since I have only seen korean builders use their products.

    • @tradfave9474
      @tradfave9474 Před 4 lety

      I looked into The Void because you mentioned it. It seems to be purely for removing dust and bad smells, not for painting. Which makes it not worth buying because dust and smell are not problems bad enough to warrant an extraction fan.

    • @thebigbient8736
      @thebigbient8736 Před 4 lety +1

      Tradfave I used to think that as well, but it adds up. I dont know if you work with resin but breathing the dust is toxic. Im not sure if the void is the answer, but Im trying to keep as clean a workspace as possible since I work on something everyday.

    • @tradfave9474
      @tradfave9474 Před 4 lety

      @@thebigbient8736 I think its negligibly toxic.
      Yes its toxic, but its at the bottom of the list.
      Breathing in atomized paint is the second most toxic, and the 1st most toxic thing is the glue we use which is made of MEK or methyl ethyl ketone.
      These are far worse for your health, but even MEK is used in industrial applications where its used to de-grease engine parts in seconds, and a single 10min use of that is equal to a lifetime of gluing plastic models together.
      If you care that much, just wear a hazmat suit or give it up altogether.

    Korean isn't 'kanji'
    I think the 'RASER' is a typo.
    I think it's supposed be 'ERASER', but they could've done this on purpose.
    3:10
    I don't think the 'G-REWORK' is intended for beginners.
    So there's no need to really have a step by step guide.
    I think they're assuming more experienced modelers would buy this and use it to get an idea of what needs to be done.
    I've actually seen this product discussed from a few Korean channels on CZcams.

    These "tools" are a contrived way to reach the same goal you would reach with REAL tools. You're just paying for the bling factor on a sub par "tool set"... unfortunately this review will probably get more people to fall into these types of overly expensive products.....nothing against the review itself, it seems neutral enough.. The joint thing is literally TAPE. You get the same effect with just layers of masking tape. This thing has about as much glue to it than masking tape too LOL.
