Great job ! I love your color input to bring up more details. Quick Question, for decals did you use the Bandai sheet or a third party like Greworks and delpi ? I was wondering if I should buy the Greworks to add more oompf on the decal side of things ? Or do you recommend delpi ?

Yeah, it is such a kit to build and behold. Just a simple water slide + matte coat turns it into a very nice display piece. I can't even imagine how one that has been meticulously worked on would look like in person.
I like that blue-ish shading you do on the white parts. It really makes the red of the decals pop, almost like they're glowing. Great stuff as always👍

Really love this Zaku II design, its so damn menacing. Its awesome how you worked with the weapons to make 'em stand out. Often gets lost in the backpack.
I wish we could get the TB Zaku 1 or Zaku 2 Mass Production type in an MG.
Your videos inspired me to jump back into gunpla painting. I used to hand paint the old HG wing kits from back when gundam wing was poppin. Now that I’m an adult I’m able to buy things like an airbrush, compressor and loads of paint lol been painting for about 3 years now and I’m still looking to your vids for tips. Keep it up brother

I'm in the process of putting together my first kitbash, it's gonna be a hybrid of a Jagd Doga and Sinanju. So far the planning is going pretty good but I've run into a snag with the backpack. The backpack adapter holes on the Jagd are two hole but the Sinanju uses a single peg and I haven't been able to find many options for a two hole to one peg adapter, and nobody I ask seems to know of where I could find one. So I figure I might as well try my luck asking here too - maybe I'll get lucky and somebody will know where I can find an adapter. Otherwise I'll probably end up glueing it on there lol
Hoping to pick up the kit sometime this year and work on it.

I've always wished Battletech would have some Gundam-esque model kits, though imagine the drama between Harmony Gold and FASA would likely get in the way. The few number of Armored Core kits you'll find here and there has always surprised me as well. Titanfall kits would be cool too.
With AC being announced as the main franchise for 30MM, we're sure to see kits and some are already more than 30 minutes to build... I'm just wondering if they're going to make any ACs in a larger scale with a more premium build.
I hadn't heard 30MM was picking up an AC line next year, that sounds great. Definitely something to look forward to at least.

What a great video to wake up and see first thing in the morning. I think the dark room and high contrast video was a great choice for this video. The model really stands out. I've only ever built model cars and planes, so I didn't know about things like the arms and fitment. I appreciate the advice. I'm trying to decide which model suit will be my first. I'll start with a low difficulty one first, but some of my favorites are "Fullbern" "Wing Zero EW" and the standard infantry guy from the "not heros, just ground troops in a war movie." Sorry I just woke up and can't remember the name of that series yet. Head fuzzy, legs limp, world.... still too far away from my brain to move, haha. Thanks again for a great wake up. Cheers Sir!

I haven't paid much attention to Gundam for years but, recently started watching from where I left off. Zaku has always been my favorite mobile suits ever made. I saw this and wanted to get it but had to pass because I don't have the time to build this monster. Pretty damn bad ass mobile suit and in my opinion, the best.
One of my fav guilty pleasure MG builds and agreed on the waist joint/armor is the weakest point that I actually stressed the plastic after cutting off the runner.
It's gorgeous. The psycho zaku is my favorite zeon mobile suit design, and you've made it look incredible.

I have shaky hands as well.
But if you want to practice painting then I recommend with small parts first. It won't be perfect but the more you do it, the more you get better.
Also, avoid caffeine just to make your hands less shaky.

Ahh man, ive had this sitting in box for a year now but the damn garage bags really put me off after the Full armor. Though once again Ill just use the excuse of I cant do it as good as itsagundam so ill jist leave it there a little longer.

I use a few lenses and a Sony A7sIII, I think the cannon R5 and cannon lenses still have the edge on sony.

I couldn't with that main fuel tank. It just made the kit too big to fit into a display case. Other than that, MG Thunderbolt kits stay winning.

Bang up job Gundam! I built one of these earlier in September to October and while it came out okay (though not at good as yours since I don't do paints, airbrushing, washes, etc), I found the water slides to not be the best in terms of adhering to their respective surfaces, even after given hours to dry. Unfortunately this would lead them sticking to my hands when trying to mount pieces or move the kit around which is annoyance to no end. With that said, I still have them reapplied, but I'm afraid to touch the kit.
On a side note and a minor pet peeve with Bandai and the ver. ka kits.... Would it kill them to give the kits from Stardust Memory new MGs? At the very least, I wish Katoki would give us a ver. ka of GP03 Stamen (I'm more a GP01 guy myself) since that's the first Gundam he ever designed. I'm also surprised that there are no more ver. ka Char suits. You'd think the Psycho Zaku could be easily modified into the Red Comet's custom Zaku II.. and even have it come with a Zaku I head as a nod to The Origin. Though I personally wouldn't mind either a Hyaku Shiki, Quattro-use Rick Dias (thank God that's getting reissued next year), or as I dare to dream a Nightingale to go toe to toe with the Hi-Nu.
the decals that came with it are shit, so topcoat the fuck out of them. i just finished mine last week and a few are already peeling off.
i love the psycho zaku its my centerpiece on my desk next to my perfect grade zaku! its such an awesome kit to built and its huge! well worth the price imo
