I'm NOT Okay

I got some bad health news that I don't discuss until the end of the video, and I'm losing my actual mind trying to work on my disability case during COVID but... I wanted to make a really honest life-story vid because if I never say it, it may never exist depending on how sick I get and how fast. I love you guys for caring about me for so many years. Also if anyone watches and gets concerned it's not a goodbye vid or anything I just have been silenced for SO LONG on so many things.

I wanted to write something but found it really hard. I had no idea you had been through so much. I was surprised to hear your parents not being as supportive as they could have been, it looked like you had a good relationship with your mum. USA healthcare really is shocking. I hope you have some people around you who can help you at this troubling time, the new diagnosis on top of all the others must be such a shock. Just do the videos you want to do, don't worry about what others think, nothing wrong with the hospital skits in my opinion. There may be some advocacy group that could help you get social security (I'm guessing that's like disability/sickness benefits here) try and get a letter about your conditions and how they affect you from your GP (general doctor or specialist) just some thoughts but it might not translate to your situation. You were so brave to do this video, there may be some hard days ahead but also some where it is not as hard. Take care

Thank you so much :( I am constantly afraid of posting content that only resonates with a few folks but that can also be a good thing. When someone else writes their American healthcare horror story I read every word. USA healthcare is indeed shocking. I have hired an attorney now. I'm hoping that helps. I appreciate you watching

I don't know you. And even though I admire your videos for the humor, the talent, the well spoken monologues and apparent love for life, I usually stop myself from saying anything positive it in the fear of being mistaken for some stalker or creep... since I'm sure it happens often. But it took a lot of figurative balls for you to reveal such vulnerability and I had to say that. And if it's any consolation, on the other side of this random cynical screen name and avatar, there's a real human being with no alternative motive or bad intentions that genuinely hopes one day you ARE ok.
