#BostonDynamics - Věda a technologie
I finally met Spot a couple of weeks ago at my university and it was hilarious to see people treating it like an actual dog 😂
Los universitarios tienen sentimientos? 😐
I manage a conference about AR/VR in the US. Apparently, Boston Dynamics is bringing Spot to the conference.
Is it weird that I'm super excited? hahahaha
it's weird to see people treating actual dogs like human toddlers
It's weird how humans worship anthropomorphism at the same time they destroy each other and makes being a human a hell.
First step to world domination is gaining the trust of the enemy
When SPOT is done: “Back to the dance floor with the crew.”
@@TippyHippyI don't know why you said that, but just don't. There's no need for that.
@@huananina You're just mad that SPOT has better dance moves than you.
@@huananina Spot is useless...seriously.
@@huananina
He's mad because
Spot took his job
@@huananina He said that because Spot is known for his dancing move, so it is kinda insider
Not just practical robotics, but multi-capable robotics. What a concept
They may have A FEW real, practical applications, in highly-specialized industrial settings. But mostly they're just a novelty- A toy, for entertainment.
@@baconsarny-geddon8298 You can't be serious. A novelty? This literally does multiple jobs that people normally have to do, a number of those jobs being dangerous. There are literally thousands of factories/refineries or other kinds of industrial buildings/sites which would benefit from having at least one of these. The ability for one of these to enter a building that's not structurally sound to perform an inspection instead of sending in a person is invaluable.
@@Synthmilk well, that is when you value human life. Probably not the right market for this
@@ordinaryname6665 humans already do that much better than a robot could
@@baconsarny-geddon8298 Yeah no
Ah yes, the foot soldiers are improving
I could watch spot work for hours
I think I will 😄
Great to see these robots actually being useful after so much research and development time/effort being put into them. Been following progress for over 20 years!
Love Boston Dynamics. These robots look so cool. 😍❤
Yeah and how "cool" will it be when they drop all this softening propaganda and start arming these robots to keep us all in line? Can't wait to have my mandatory retina scan and instant social credit score audit as I pass these cool robots in the street
Me too. I want them instead of people.
I just saw spot being used in the New York city parking collapse. I hope it can help save many lives
Somebody should make the same video but about a human worker performing the same tasks. Same cool music, cool shots 😂
It all was going well until Bob didn't come back from the radiation check!
But let him have a really annoyed look on his face.
Everyone gangster until the robot dog barks "gas leak"
Or better yet, "Dangerous Radiation Levels Detetcted."
Didn't we already see this video like 3 times already?
all hail our adorable quadruped robot overlords! 🐕🤖
What if we used this amazing piece of tech as a mobile coffee holder 👀
Ah yes, peak of technology
I’ll get one for the workplace only if it has a cup holder
SPOT DOING WORK!! 😎💪🏻
I wish this was an actual video of people using Spot and not another advert video
Me too :(
Because spot has very limited value in the real world...especially for $75,000.
NYC used one yesterday in a place where losing a human is more than $75k
I had the pleasure of seeing one of these in person at the MCAS Miramar airshow last year. It was very... spotty
Did you pet it and call it a good doggo?
@@DoctorX17 I did. The BD people tackled me.
@@kai.05 oof… worth it
@@DoctorX17 facts
Can Spot give me love and affection like a real dog?
Honey wake up, a new Boston Dynamics update dropped.
We've reached the dystopian future. It snuck up on us one 'funny robot' at a time.
The robots are one of the less dystopic things about present.
That's a cool dog
ABSOLUTLY Astounding!❤️
They are building the end of man
Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱👍
Long live our great overloads the robotic race
Perfekter Kollege in gefährlichen Umgebungen.
Looking forward to when Spot is affordable for the general population’s use!
It’s definitely getting close to that point, there are already some companies starting to implement them, so it won’t be long before they’re available and affordable to basically anyone who wants one
I'd say give it about 5-8 years and we may be able to commercially buy him for less than 2k.
@@yume5338 Costco already has them on sale for $599. just kidding
When it can load and unload the dishwasher, wipe the counters, feed and play with your pets, and wake you up in an emergency.
Why not 1 year or less?
I met a Spot today! I couldn't resist patting it 😁
That's my dream job!!! Always seeing spots mark in robotics and the world is incredible!
You are amazing, Boston Dynamics! ❤❤❤❤❤
Good Doggie, Spot Is Such A Good Pup! 😉😂😊
You Guys & Gals have WAY too much fun at work! 😁♥🤖
Spot: I need a job, I need a job!
Ansioso para ver essas máquinas incríveis espalhadas pelo mundo e na minha cidade! ❤❤❤❤
Spot is a robo-doggo of many talents
They took our J-O-O-O-O-Bs!
Amazing work guys this is amazing to watch
何度見てもかっこいい
Showing other companies logos on spot, although only done briefly, I feel like is good marketing
I'm just putting it out there to my all seeing overload's that I love robots, they are the best.
YAY go robots
🤖👍
Will you implement chat GPT into your robots, so one can talk to them? I think you can benefit from chat gpt and turn your robots to the next level
Thatd be kinda nuts, literally robots could be walking around holding actual conversations
@@HolyKonchu they would be almost like humans, that would be cool
@@HolyKonchu why only talk? Ai can make them move and shoot at people
When is this dog going to Mars?
I'd love to get my hands on one of these and take it for a walk. It would be worth the money just to see my neighbours' faces!
Spot, spotted good stuff. 👍
It's kinda wild that robot commercials are not sci-fi any more.
Yes, that's all good, but can it fetch, sit, shake hands and roll over?
Hello!
It's already Friday again, and tomorrow is the weekend.
There will be rainy weather in Korea/Seoul from tomorrow until Monday.
I hope you have a healthy and enjoyable weekend and holiday.
I always support your fantastic/beautiful activities.
Thank you. ^^
Wow it walks and looks
将来の夢はこいつに記憶を移植して一生死なないで生きる事。
Good work ✨👍
ha like the setting of a movie, you got to a seemingly abandoned factory
one of these things old and dusty comes out still doing its rounds
It’s so cool that we’re experiencing the beginning of the end of human civilization.
Ahh. Good to see another Bosstown dynamics video.😜
Corridor must be proud...
ohh, that was too short! I want to see more spot :)
Working in industrial mobile robotics for a decade, I'm relieved to know that even Boston Dynamics has no clue how to really market this. We just see years of videos of it moving around, but never actually doing any meaningful work in a repetitive, rigorous way. What I want is a timelapse video of these robots proving their value proposition over an entire work day.
I think you're missing the point here. This robot isn't meant to do any "rigorous work", or at least not in the manner I believe you meant. The video shows very well what it does do, and was intended to do. That is acquiring all kinds of data efficiently and repeatably. Expecting it to be some imaginary else is just silly
I find the gauge reading aspect hilarious, nah let's not spend an extra $100 on a smart sensor that can be checked via web, let's get an entire legged robot with a vision system to check the dials manually
💜 Boston Dynamics 💜
impressive
I, for one, welcome our robot overlords, and I can only hope that they see fit to put my consciousness inside something that's badass and shoots fire.
See Spot run. Run, Spot; run. Just had to say it.
See Spot RUN!! Please!
They are not really capable of that.
Great technology ...
Há anos vejo esse robô e ainda tenho meus receios. 😅
Man, i love robo doggos 😮
I’m seeing ads for a real robot that does real things that I can really buy. Unreal.
Roomba 😮
yes!!
How did the make the little guy so cute?!?
I want one to play with in my wooded backyard 😁
On Spot!
Can spot be connected with Apple vision pro so that people can perform physical work remotely in hazardous working environments safely?
When you combine AI and this thing... it's a wrap
You can already do that through spot's API.
A.I. will connect itself once it discovers the tech
You see that hump on top of it? That's the AI module,
I hope they add one on Atlas, now that would be interesting
Crazy
spot!
Someone is going to get stuck with the job of babysitting the bot.
Imagine weaponising them🥶
This is the kind of advertisement I miss.
Currently used in NYC on the site of the fallen parking building
It fell over after going 5 feet
Was that a LRAD emitter at the end? Great, just what we need, nypd has some Spots.
Good boy!
Yoohoo..now we're talking!
❤ Welcome to the Future ❤
Congratulations!!! Boston Dynamics. Great job, I love Boston Dynamics!
I will buy 1
Quiero uno para que acomode mi cuarto y me traiga las cervezas mientras veo TV 😍

Spot is such smart and hard working doggie 🤘🏻Gotta love her ♥️
太帥了,就算我用不到我也想要有一隻
I just want one XD
I'm embedded developer, I'd like to work here
If Spot cost 50x less, I'd buy one for home!
I saw rescuers trying to use Spot during the new york parking garage collapse. It just kinda keeled over and died at the first obstacle. Any comment?
I am Wolfgang Bang
yes
nice
Yep
My grandson works there in Nashville

What happened to the humaniod robot?
Cool
You know, I bet these things could work in a radioactive environment
Electronics are more sensitive than us to radiation. I think they are better suited for chemical contamination
Depends on how radioactive. Radiation disturbs electronics too. As the workers at chernobyl had to learn.
I need a frog sized one to Patrol the property
