    Very helpful vid. What would be the best method for removing/installing the intermediate shaft and axel end set/snap ring? I'm installing the axels on my car and would like to install the new set rings correctly. Thank you

    When I did mine I hit the seal till it was flush but my dust cap on the intermediate shaft is bent, would this cause any leakage I wouldn’t think so since the seal is what holds fluid in but then again the cap puts pressure on seal

    Do you know if it would be the same with a 2007 Ridgeline... for the passenger side and with an intermediate shaft? I need to replace the seal only on the passenger side and it sure would be nice it it was as easy as the TSX!

    I've got this problem on my 2013 RDX J series engine. Driver side. Leaking small amounts of transmission fluid. My mechanic is recommending I replace both the seal and axle. What are your thoughts? Would you replace just the seal or both while you're at it? I'm at 105K. OEM Acura axle is not cheap 😭

    Question, I know you cleaned where the seal goes, and then lubed up the inside before sliding the axle. How come you don't lube the seal with ATF before putting the seal itself in?

    I went under my son's 2006 TSX yesterday and all the engine is very clean, no leaks at all, except for that SAME SPOT where the Axle joints the Gear Box. Thanks in advance 😎🤝🏻🙂👍🏻 Nice Video

      @AdrianLopez-gp9yz Před rokem

      I’m 2 years late but this happened to mines because I’m low to the ground so my axle is bending the seal out. It depends on how well you treat the car and especially if you use “m” the tsx in some way goes into sport giving it more and if you go from 1-2 fast your axle is going to pop out from the torque since tsx are untuned from factory not making all its power and reliability
