New CV Axle Shaft from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1AAC...
A CV axle has flexible joints. Often, these joints wear out, or seize from contaminants due to the protective boot tearing open. A worn joint is prone to breakage, or other hazards. If your vehicle needs a new CV axle, install a quality TRQ axle that is engineered to your vehicle’s specifications. This video shows you how to install one in your 2004-2008 Acura TL.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2004 Acura TL
2005 Acura TL
2006 Acura TL
2007 Acura TL
2008 Acura TL

That was the most beat TL I have seen lol. Leaks and rust everywhere.
Finally a better quality video for this type of job. I been waiting for this
Thank you for posting the work on a video online i have a 05 TL and i did change the axle with the same steps you had in this video so followed every step and it worked out perfect, i was thinking that the trans went bad but when i got the car home i saw that the axle was actually grinned in half so thanks again TRQ....
Nice video if you didn't pay attention that the second Bolt on the splash guard broke off 😁 and they replace the rotors I guess that part was in a different video. Good job 💪
I was searching for a video like this for my 2010 Acura tl but I think this should help
+Cristian Rivas Thanks for watching our video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Great video. Lube the strut fork to help slip it right in
Thanks for the informative video, it made the process quite simple.
Well lit, well explained, and Well edited - Thank you
This was very helpful. Thank you
I need to replace my intermediate shaft, bearing is out, but no-one makes an aftermarket one. The OEM one is minimum $350 and just changing the bearing is a pain. Changing the bearing requires a press and $100 in parts, bearing plus seals, so only worth it if you have access to a good press. It's like the only car, along with the 03-07 V6 Accord that has the exact same part number, that doesn't have an aftermarket offering.
How often should these be replaced? I’m on original with 250k on the same TL. No leaks
Very good video thank you for it...
This video is for someone who's retired and has all day to make love to the job. So many wasted steps.
Question was the car in neutral or park?
Loosen up the top bolt on the fork first
Would it be possible to be fixed if I got into an accident and the tire came off along with the axel?
As long as the frame wasn’t damaged bad it’s doable but just more expensive and more parts you’ll need
You need a led bar stolk
Wait a minute you installed new ball joints didn't you without stating that? You sly guy
what happens when you have to torque the axle nut to 180ft# but the engine only outputs 150ft# of torque. haha Then you know you have a weak engine by design

Are the 07 axel same as 04
