Bro you missing the Lumen Commands.
Lumen kills FPS in the game harder then anything else.
Their are 2 Lumen commands that will significantly improve your performance more.
FoV also kills FPS. Having FoV at 80 substantially improves FPS.
I play on PC and after I adjusted my FoV and disabled Lumen in my configuration file. Which the Lumen commands do the same thing on Xbox because you can't access the configuration.
But after I adjusted those 2 simple things. My game runs a 144 FPS and never drops below 140. Game plays flawless. Only issues are WCs terrible servers at this point.
r.DynamicGlobalIlluminationMethod 0 (Disables Lumen) (High FPS Impact)
r.Lumen.Reflections.Allow 0 (Disables Lumen Reflections) (Medium FPS Impact)
Add these commands to your game. They will improve performance way more then anything on this command list.
And I play with a tribe of console players. They confirmed with me that nothing improves their performance more then the Lumen commands.

True. But until then they should make the console commands be added to settings so people can check them on or off without having to spend 5 minutes entering commands each time they want to play

@@davew4304 It takes under 5 seconds to input the commands on PC, because the commands are saved in the console, don't even need to type em anymore, just arrow up and enter
I kinda agree but ASA was a game made for Unreal engine 5 for the quality upgrade so it kinda makes sense that it is around 30 fps with great quality
@@thunderboy4849I got 140-160 fps with max settings on ASE. I get 10-15 fps with max settings on ASA. ASA looks much better than ASE, but not that much better.
This is cool and useful for new and returning player. Thank you!!!! I just got it 3 days ago on PS5 because I felt like playing ARK again after not playing for 5 years. I love a few QOL improvements but the save button situation SUCKS. Already played 18 hours with in 3 days and lost half of it easily. I’m trying the wipe wild Dino’s every couple of days to see how that goes.

DUDE HOLYYYY! you’re the best! i was literally running on 28 fps on my xbox series S, there was so much screen tear it was unplayable. now i’m running at 55-60 frames consistently and the game looks beautiful. AND THE REALLY ANNOYING GRASS IS GONE TOO! thank you so much! ❤️❤️🙏🙏🔥🔥
The game still looks terrible on series s. If you load up ase you’ll be amazed at how much better it looks than ASA.

Theres a mod called "simple performance mod" or something like that, once you boot the game go into sp with the mod loaded, it will automatically put you a bunch of commands, game looks nearly identical but I have 40-50 fps now (PS5), if you wanna play something else the commands will stay even if you go to official servers.
I’ve been using this recently and I get 50-60 fps on places like the beach and 30-45 fps in places like the RedWoods. It’s definitely a must-have for console players.

@@Greg-w-smeg yes in some places like redwoods the fps drop is kinda rough but it still pretty good, when you're at the sea or near the beach you get consistent 50-60 fps. you get 40-50 fps in pretty much all over the island

The only way we got to get a true 60 fps on console is adding a framerate mode who down 4k to 1440P and turn off lumen(ray tracing) , and let a graphic mode for those who can play in 30 fps 4k, all console game do that...

To note, the framerate on series s is higher than x. Obviously the resolution is way lower, but just saying that the settings don't need to be lowered further.
Can the opposite be made? To make it look more like the PC version? Would like to see how xbox would handle it in a similar configuration to the PC epic preset.

I tried to do a refund, didnt work. Also played in official PVE, Servers are full and everything is blocked. Many Things Look better in ASE but im probably going to reinstall ASA cause i wont get a refund anyway.

As a series S owner i turned evreything down to fucking 0😂 i refuse good graphics over good fps even then if the they optimize this a little more(in the year 3024) ill still have ny game look like this to never lag again
what they need to do is make Lumen toggle-able and off by default, Lumen is NOT a game ready system, it is a EXPERIMENTAL lighting engine that is NOT optimized for use in actual games

Wish Wildcard would just optimize the game properly rather than having us do a bunch of shit just to get the game running smoothly. Went back to PC cause the game looked horrible on the Xbox X and S. Couldn't stand looking at the pixelated clouds. Hands down the worst looking game on Xbox.
Edit: I also forgot to mention how everything in the game looks like wet clay. Evolved even looks better.

They really flopped the perfomance of this game look at avatar frontier of pandora for example that game runs steady 60 on series x with no drops and looks 3x better

All of the tips are horrible. The best way to get over 120fps on this game is to uninstall it. Now I get constant 120fps.
