This game is a genuine joke, my series s makes this game look like a sloppy ps3 game😂 i don’t know why but my whole screen is fuzzy and the graphics on rocks and grass is genuinely disgusting
It's unfortunately xbox one s seems to crash on world start up it needs some serious optimization fixes even with all settings lowest still crashes left and right
I have no issues with ark ascended on my xbox x only on series s. I have 44 mods. Series s no matter the settings, when nitrado fix event i cant log in without getting dashboarded.
Turn "console access" on. He showed it in the video but he could've emphasized it's importance more considering it's needed to do everything else he does in the video after that point.

@kdavidson6771 and anyone else wondering about console commands on xbox, press start look at bottom left which will say console commands and the button which is the back select will be the one to get the menu up
@@beachbobricky9028 i figured it out, i had to join a session (for me i did singke player) and then disabled fog thru console commands and then i quit to nain menu deleted my character and was able too see my character clearly 👍
I would instead suggest leaving shadow quality at 1 and just turning groundclutterquality to 0. Looks way better and runs way better. Also, why didn't you turn on the Statfps?!

Ark devs are setting the bar low they need to optimize this I'll give em a year and if this game isn't optimized by then I'll just be waiting for Ark 2 😂
Thank you for the tips. I run an Xbox series s with a 4K monitor but still have issues seeing the map. For some reason even following your settings. My map is still so blurry. Do you have any help for that?
No they will not... nothing stays when reloading the game :( BUT the console commands do stay as you entered them therefore going to the console access, will allow you to just click on them and enable them again vs typing them back in

I'm gald consoles can get better fps somehow. I play on PC this compromise wouldn't be acceptable to me at all though. Maybe some better optimizations would be a better answer though.
Is it still crashing?? It happened to me on ps5 too. What I did was. I deleted my world then I fix the settings first before I created my world again. Also, I changed client network to medium or high. I hope this help! Enjoy!!

I’m kinda assuming it will run better with the ue5 with similar graphic quality..maybe more geometry. I think the issue with the original is that the base was a mess because they didn’t fully know what they were doing. I did think that they were going to make it so big that nothing really changed. That it still doesn’t run well on current gen.
@@icosmic1 it gave you all the achievements on ase, like even when you cheated in experience, or used teleport to get the survivor notes. I would assume that hasn’t changed since most of the sp issues still exist in game.
Try these commands in this order. First type - R.Streaming.FullyLoadUsedTextures, then type - R.Streaming.Poolsize 0 That has helped me a bunch with my creatures

Just disable clouds and play on 60 fov and you are fine on series x thars what i did
On series X you can just remove clouds and fog and it looks fine. Just can’t get rid of screen tear

Sometimes a vsync command is needed as well once mods start getting added. Ive experienced major screen splitting once the RR mods were downloaded.
How do you get the command bar up? It use to be LB + RB + X + Y. I can not find the option in that massive list of tuff.

Any idea why in character creation there is a white film over the entire screen almost like fog. Only appears during character creation.

instead of the “0” at the end, edit the command and put at “3”
pretty sure you need to reenter all commands when you boot the game so just try closing out and restarting the game

How do I delete commands I have in effect?
I believe commands need to be reentered every time you boot up, so just try closing and reopening the game
If that doesn’t work, instead of using 0 as an input, you may use 100
