    Great video getting this info out. Sounds really good hopefully the price can get toned down a bit & really like the different options MF developed.

    So tired of all the cry babies in the comments experiencing inflation for the first time. Fully loaded GT is 62k you can get a Dark Horse for 64k. It's a 2k difference if your smart enough to shop around. No one is comparing it to your trailer park base GT that is meant for high school kids.

    It would be great if Magnaflow actually smoothed out those dyno results so they weren't using inflated gain figures coming from spiked peaks on the graph.

    • @internetbrandsautogroup3826
      @internetbrandsautogroup3826  Před 8 měsíci +2

      Sorry, thought i responded to this earlier. I'm not a dyno expert in any way (just an automotive journalist). But I will say that MF ran these tests many, many times and, as a company, they are pretty scientific in how they measure and approach things. If the peak gains weren't consistantly seeing, as quoted on camera in the video, a "peak difference of almost 12hp" (over the OEM active valve system), they would have said so. From what I gathered, they were genuinely surprised to see how the Gen4 Coyote reacted to improved exhaust airflow. Cheers.

      Chart shows the smooth is at maximum "5" and differences quoted are not peak but under curve

    Just got a ‘24 GT with dual tip exhaust. Only thing exhaust I’ve seen currently in the market is MBRP Armor Pro Series Race cat back. I’m wondering what you think of it or if you’ve reviewed it? From the 1 video I’ve seen it sounds good.

    • @internetbrandsautogroup3826
      @internetbrandsautogroup3826  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Hey, congrats on the new Mustang!
      I have not heard the MBRP in person, but comparing my MF recordings to CJ Pony's MRBP recordings, the MF appears to be tuned a little more for the growling high tones and the MRBP sounded a little lower on my speakers (closer to the MF active-valve systems).
      Both sound great, though.

    • @Havok-xq6nm
      @Havok-xq6nm Před 8 měsíci

      @@internetbrandsautogroup3826 thanks for the quick reply! What’s your take on MBRP in general, are they good quality? There’s a big price difference ($1k for MBRP to MF’s $2.5K) for each respective system.
      Thanks again!

    • @internetbrandsautogroup3826
      @internetbrandsautogroup3826  Před 8 měsíci +1

      @@Havok-xq6nm I've never owned one of their systems, but they are a popular brand and have a 3-year warranty on this system.
      Looking at the components in the CJPP video, MF seems to be a little higher quality (the way they form the pipping, muffler materials, etc.) and (best guess here) probably flows a touch more air, but is it $1,500 better? That would be hard to say.
      It's also tough bc your car is so new you can't just go to Cars n Coffee to hear them both to decide what you like more. And, despite our best efforts, CZcams videos don't replace the in-person listening experience.
      The good news is that, even if you buy a system you end up not liking, there's always a used market for Mustang exhaust stuff, so I would go with your gut and just enjoy the ride!

      @internetbrandsautogroup3826  Před 8 měsíci

      Sincere response: I’m very glad you are happy with stock. There’s no problem with that.
      However, these MF systems sound nothing like stock. (If you watched this on a smartphone or any type of headphones/speakers that have no bass, that could contribute to your reaction.)

    The audio is your video is awesome. I have a ‘24 on order, and I’m interested in the competition (dual-tip). Can you give me an idea of how loud it is? I know cold starts will be loud, but how loud is it in the cabin while cruising with the windows up. Can I carry a conversation without yelling? Thank in advance.

    • @internetbrandsautogroup3826
      @internetbrandsautogroup3826  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Okay, this is a little hard to describe in words, but it's definitely loud... but there's absolutely NO bass with the dual-tip system, so zero drone, and with the windows up, not too much louder than stock.
      Basically, if you are driving calmly, no problem. At WOT, conversations are more challenging. Windows down it's a mixed bag depending on throttle input.
      Best of luck with your decision.

      @@internetbrandsautogroup3826 Hi Michael, I just wanted to follow up with you ad let you know that my '24 Mustang Gt finally came in, and I was able to pick up the dual tip Magnaflow Competition for a good price. You were right, it sounds awesome, and to me, it's not loud at all. Best of all, no drone. Thank you for your review. Question for you, what did you use to record your audio? Your sound is spot on, and everyone else's sounds like they are just using the mic from a camera; it's garbage. Thanks again.

    Just ordered this but now I’m second guessing myself. Will the dual exhaust still work if I don’t have an active valve exhaust? I don’t really care about quote mode just if it’s gonna boost hp and actually work

    • @internetbrandsautogroup3826
      @internetbrandsautogroup3826  Před 5 měsíci

      Which system did you order? Dual tips or one of the quad tips?
      If you ordered the dual tip (one tip on each side) and you do not have active valve, that's a direct bolt-on. You're G2G.
      If you ordered either quad tip (two tips on each side) system and you do not have factory active valve, you'll need to modify your rear bumper valence to fit the larger opening. And then I would imagine you'd have to modify the exhaust to remove the valve from the system so it's not just loose. (Since you would have nothing to control it).
      FWIW, all 3 systems produce identical power gains, according to Magnaflow.

    • @internetbrandsautogroup3826
      @internetbrandsautogroup3826  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Yes, that's correct. Factory dual-tip base GT exhaust has no mode control because there are no valves on that system.
