The secret of getting malaayi is simple actually.. The purer the milk, the thicker is the layer of malaayi... most milk selling people add a lot of water in the milk and people add even more when they put it for boiling.. we get a good layer although not as thick as yours because the milk we get is pure despite living in a city..

@@metalhead7752 hi. The process involves fresh full cream milk preferrably raw if possible. Put the milk on stove and bring it to a boil, ensuring to lower the heat as soon as it starts to boil. Then let it simmer dor 3-4 minutes on low flame or heat. After that take the pot off the heat and let it cool down completely. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours and the cream should be ready. Ensure that the original container is used, meaning the pot used to boil is the container used from start to finish. If the milk is good quality, you will get the same results as shown.

Prakalpini Pattnayak im from odisha too...try using raw cow milk(just google it or ask around I’m sure u can find someone locally),packet milks are diluted and processed which removes lots of fats.
