You’ve got that tiltrotator all figured out already. That thing will pay for itself by the end of summer. Nice job!

Wow. I've been watching tilt rotators in Europe for 20 years. This is proof the USA market is ready for them and willing to pay. How will we bill for a tiltrotator on excavator by the hour?

I think the USA is closed minded when it comes to them! they just don't understand that's why I want to share it I believe it should be standard! I am billing hourly for now and going to slowly work my way up to where I need to be $$ wise its going to take some time for people to see the value around my area!

@@diggingwithdylan9092 right! I have many machines. I haven't yet figured out how to bill for this attachment as it does "too much" and many builders and land owners won't understand how to pay extra for it above the excavator cost. But once it becomes standard in the market then they will demand it. But once that happens...all the competition will have one too. So... sounds like you get it! It's hard to price a job for people who don't have plans or know what they want. A lot of it has to be hourly. It'd be nice to learn how you come up with your hourly price without you revealing any of your personal business. Maybe you could hint lol. I'm thinking the excavator hourly cost...then break the cost of the tiltrotator cost down in to hourly chunks plus maintenance plus experience to run it. Idk???

@@technicalitems731 honestly I am still experimenting with my rates I don’t have it down to a science yet. I went up $25 an hour with my tilt rotator. Once people catch on to the productivity I think $50-$75 even is fair considering how much faster I can do a job on top of how much more clean and precise I can be

I'm really impressed with that tilt rotator. Did you choose that specific brand/model tilt rotator over different brands for any special reason?
I enjoy your videos. Where (what state) are you located? I do similar type of work in south central Oklahoma.

Appreciate the comment and you watching ! I chose the Nox tiltrotator for a few reasons.
      1. They are a bit cheaper than some of the other brands.
      2. They have a relationship with Sany so I wanted to keep things together if I can
      3. I like that you don’t have any exposed cylinders for the tilt that can hang on stuff.
I am located in Middle TN
      Thanks again for watching!

I noticed you kept the thumb on, are you not concerned about the extra weight? I sometimes wish i still have the thumb but very rarely.
Also have you been pretty happy with the sideways digging power of the NOX?
Do you have any kind of quickoil system on this setup?

I have steel tracks and added a 1500lb counter weight so stability has not been an issue at all ! Even with my 59” grading bucket I’m very impressed! I do some land clearing and don’t have the money for a grapple just yet so wanted to keep the thumb for that reason.
I am very happy with the Nox all around and I like that there’s no tilt cylinders to hang on stuff. But I’ve not ran any other brands enough to give a real accurate comparison.
I don’t have the quick oil system yet but plan to get it eventually!
