In this video you will see me using my Sany SY80 Excavator to clear land! we also run into some unexpected guests! a Corn snake ( I think) And a black rat snake!
Depends what your goals are. They are essentially the same size. 80has just a little more power. I did not like the limited reach on the 95 but it was more stable. I like the swing boom for tight spaces and the 80 visibility is better. After I added the counter weight to the 80 I would choose it hands down.
Thanks for the video! Getting tired of working for the other guy and wanting to get out on my own. I know this question is a bit area specific but would you mind giving me some direction on what I should charge per hour for an excavator like this and skid steer per hour also?
I haven’t ran a Cat or JD that’s comparable in size in a few years so it’s not fresh on my mind. But I am very happy with the machine and feel like it is a great balance of speed smoothness and power. I will say it feels stronger than the kubota and bobcat machines in this size class
@@85ccmaster I understand that ! I felt the same way for a long time I spent a year or two researching and talking to people who had been on them and owned them. Rented one for a while before buying. There’s a balance a lot of the big names you’re just paying more for the name.
That SANY is way more powerful than I thought it would be when I first saw it. With the nice aftermarket stuff on it it’s even better
It impresses me more every day ! It by far exceeded my expectations!
just ordered Mongo 35in forestry mulcher $21k for my SY80 , also, got price on the counter weight $3,500
That’s exciting! I’d love to have a mulcher!
Good stuff....
Thanks ! Appreciate you watching and the comment
New to the channel. What state are you in. This is some beautiful country. Thank you.
Appreciate you watching ! I am in middle Tennessee!
Hey bud. I’m looking to get a sany excavator. Do you like the 80 more than the 95?

Definitely depends where you’re at around here prices range from 135-175 for the excavator and 85-125 on a skidsteer
I call them all Nope Ropes! 😆
How do you like your counter weight
How heavy is it
1500lbs I love it it’s a game changer
How fast are the hydraulics compared to something like a CAT or Deere?

@@diggingwithdylan9092 Very nice! The cheaper excavators make me question their performance
