RZ350 NC2 Resto Mod Ep25 - Oil Pump Bench Test

In this video I performed an off the bike bench test of the oil pump. I need to verify that the oil pump is pumping oil prior to reassembly of the engine. I was able to set it up and turn the pump shaft with a drill motor. It worked quite well. This test in no way measured the output of the oil pump. It only served to prove that the pump is pumping oil. Also, I will measure the oil pump stroke clearance after reassembling the engine, installing it, and real-time running it.

Just finished rebuilding my pump with the kit from Economy Cycle. Duplicated your test here, same result. Nice! Re-assembly continues.

I just got a rd350 project running
With fouling spark plugs
Commression looks lower in both
Cylinders
But with new spark plugs
It starts first kick every time
Has those expansion chambers
From spec 2
Had over 200 mains
So i have rebuilt carbs and put 140
Stock size mains to ease the fouling
Rebuilt the stator pate so the
Brushes can function
Now it charges after 2k rpm
So now its at a stage i have to
Flip a coin
Rebuild top end or ?

I removed the entire oil pump, blocked the hole for the oil and will put it directly into the gasoline.
