Wyatt Langford Is RotoProspects’ New No 1 Prospect

Wyatt Langford is taking over the No. 1 spot in our weekly-updated Top 500 Prospect Rankings, overtaking Jackson Holliday by raking across four levels after going to Texas at No. 4 overall in July’s MLB draft.
The Rangers’ 21-year-old righty-swinging outfielder put up an astounding combined triple-slash of .360/.480/.677 with 10 homers and 12 steals in 44 games - all while drawing 36 walks against 34 strikeouts.
Langford has had quite the year, leading Florida to the College World Series and mashing his way to Triple-A in his pro debut.
