    Great content as usual....thanks for presenting in an easy to understand format. This video makes it easy to look forward to the upcoming season. Banking on Basallo and Holliday to have solid seasons at their particular levels.

    When I watch Basallo's swing I can't help but see Rafael Devers. Both free swingers from the left side with tremendous plate coverage and great power. Basallo hit 9 HR's this year on balls out of the strike zone, which feels like the most Devers stat ever. I'm not sure how many HR"s Devers has hit on balls out of the strike zone, but I have to imagine it's very high.

    Wyatt is a superstar. Prospect lists with Wyatt outside the top 2 or 3 are a joke. Thanks for the content.

      @@LetstalkwaxMax Clark projects to be and probably is the better defender right now. Clark has a better arm as he has hit 97mph pitching. Clark was a multi sport athlete. The hit tool is obviously leaning Langford right now but Clark isn’t a chump and is only a teen.

    It's nice that Langford did great things but his cards are out of reach for most of us. Wish hype didn't drive the market. I have a Roman Anthony auto I pulled but time will tell on him also. Thanks for sharing. 95 percent of prospects fail so it's far from an exact science. I hope Wyatt does well for those who invest i guess.

      He’s only 19. If the bat will help the O’s at the MLB level in a few years, they will find a place for him defensively. If not - trade bait or a AAAA future.

    Langford reminds me of Andrew Vaughn hype. Good luck. Some big things here, Basallo looks like the next huge thing
    Salas had no business in AA, struggled on A+ … it’s more AJ Preller - PT Barnum.

    • @dundalis
      @dundalis Před 6 měsíci

      The Langford hype is literally the complete opposite of Vaughn hype. Vaughn was hyped and exceeded his draft projections out of college, where Langford hype actually dropped in the draft from his initial projections. Langford's hype accelerated after his minor league debut getting to AAA, Vaughn's dropped after his debut, never progressing past high A. Not sure where the similarities are, they seem opposite.

      It's no longer "hype" when you terrorize every level of the minors after playing a full collegiate season and despite suffering a shot to the right nut last March. Langford is about as sure a thing as they come.
