I'm happy that Marco won, he deserved It. Of course Sanremo is not a national selection ( Eurovision was actually inspired by Sanremo festival ) as the other countries do, so that's why, in my opinion, all the songs Italy brings every year are amazing, despite the european people tastes
Yes it’s a typical Italian ballad, but it’s the way he sings and his voice… like daaamn. Maybe a top10 or even top 5 in may.

la maggior parte degli altri paesi hanno costruito i loro concorsi finalizzandoli ad Eurovision quando noi invece da 73 anni abbiamo questo concorso e abbiamo dato la possibilità di al vincitore se partecipare o meno all'eurofestival. Per noi ha sempre importato di più vincere Sanremo piuttosto che partecipare ad eurovision, poi, se si vince meglio ancora....

I think you didn't understand how Sanremo works. Marco won Sanremo 2023 not the access to Eurovision. Sanremo it's not a selection for Eurovision. If he decides to go to Eurovision he will got, if not some other contestant of Sanremo will be chosen. So at this very moment Mengoni is not Italy entry for Eurovision. Let's see in the next hours! 😊

Thanks for your video. Marco is the most beautiful male voice we have in Italy, he is known as a very sweet, sensitive and emotional guy, which makes him even more special.
Experts call him an alien, because what he does with his voice doesn't sound out of this world, it's very difficult for a human being to do, he has perfect technique and he can play with his voice by changing it rapidly during the song.
During the Festival he had a fever and sinusitis, despite this he sang wonderfully! ❤️
The songs presented in Sanremo are meant to be the best Italian song and not for Eurovision, where a different style often prevails (funny/trash songs), but this is real music and he could win. The song is about the inner conflict we all struggle with, that's why he feels the song very much in his heart while singing it. The text speaks of two parts of the same person, the conscious and the unconscious that talk to each other, the life of dreams that collides with that of reality (just "Due vite", "two lives").
Truly a deep and emotional meaning, a beautiful music that together with the text take the audience into a dreamlike scenario. Furthermore Marco is an excellent interpreter, this makes the difference and makes this song perfect, because he transmits all the emotions to the audience that watches and listens to him, even to a foreign audience that does not understand the Italian language and this says everything about what a great artist is Marco.

I laugh a little bit every time I hear "Italy brings to ESC"😅 Just because Sanremo has never been a selection contest for ESC as many times appears. Sanremo is a festival itself, and actually it's father of Eurovision. So yeah, the winner of Sanremo can go to ESC, but the songs are not made for it😊

In Italy we give more importance to Sanremo as a festival, we don't see it as a selection for Eurovision so for the victory we don't take into account European tastes. And yes, in Italy we apparently prefer ballads 🤣🤣. we are sentimental. AND Sanremo is mostly seen by grown-ups and not so much by kids, so this affects the votes, I think.
however , this song deserves the victory and also Lazza con Cenere is an excellent second place 🤝🥳.

Well, this song was with no dubt the best of Sanremo 2023, I’m so happy to bring back Marco Mengoni.
The song talks about 2 lives that Marco lived. When he was younger he had a mental crisis he was 100 kilos or more and his life was empty, so he decided to escape from home, he worked in a bar and many locals, and then he won the 2009 edition of X Factor in Italy. I should say that the secret of his success is due to his passion for music and the need to tell the story of his life in the songs

So they make jokes for fun, playing with the characterisctics of the contestants. This Is our humor, probably you have another kind of humor. Not meant ti offend, Is meant to entartain italian audience like we all were on the couch talking about the show.
