That's so cool! I did the same shenanigans yesterday on my Atom 80/Tensing combo! Not quite as strong winds, but was able to do some serious playing around when the thermals picked me up

Kyle O'Glee the past two days here have been so nice, me and the students are flying all day in soft thermals! The mornings have been windy and then it warms up to really soft steady wind! This video was the last bit of strong wind in the morning.. wish I had taken a reading or looked at the wind speed to tell you what it was blowing but anyways it was fun!

@@minyardmatt how much would you charge to train me to fly a paramotor? I own one I purchased 3+ years ao with wing, training just did not work out. I also have a trike.

Matt....can you do drones? If so, I've got a great idea that you can do. I'd do it myself but I'm currently down with a busted prop.

@@minyardmatt Okay, Matt. I specialize in busting props. I've got an old Solo 210 with a 20mm shaft & the usual six holes. How much you want for your prop?
Here's the idea. It may have been done before but I haven't seen it. Get your drone ready to go but lay it on the ground. Have the controller tied to your neck, maybe using bungees. With the drone aimed directly into the wind, take off, fly over it in the same direction it's aimed, about 50 feet up, but launch it before you get to it & fly with it. Just be careful it doesn't cut your lines....LOL! Landing it could be problematical too!
I also thought of just taking it with me, flying up to say 500 feet, droping it but hitting the GO switch immediately after it clears. I think a ground launch would be safer...at least at the beginning.
This idea would add a whole new perspective to Paramotoring. With practice you could get it to circle you in-flight! Don't tell Friar Tuck. He'll beat you to it. Let me know what you think. You willing to try?

I would have preferred to have the camera aimed at the pilot & wing at all times, rather than have me chase you all over the screen with my mouse, but cool video just the same!
SooperDave true, I think this video is best to watch on a phone or VR goggles. What’s interesting is that I can edit the video and frame it on the pilot & wing, and post that again. I was just curious more than anything about how this type of video would play on mobile devices & computer screens.. thanks for the feedback!
