Thanks for the awesome review. I was wondering if is it possible to use this monitor in a portrait mode (liveview & playback). Lets say I turned my camera from a landscape to a portrait mode will the screen rotate automatically? one more thing regarding setting the aspect ration does it allow shooting in a portrait or/and square aspect ratio. I want to use it mainly for double checking my exposure and focus both in my video work as well as photography. Thanks

Hi interesting video. do you had any issues with the af focus? in 1080 or 4k and one big point is outside. What about outside is it bright enough I would see outdoor shots

When i turn on the a6 monitor, my camera monitor goes off and does not come back on. Any idea why?

Hi I just got external monitor for my a6400 and a9 . I am just confused with settings as it doesnt display menu or visuals on back of my camera when I connect it to external monitor

Just bought mine to use with Sony A7iii. When I'm shooting 4K the monitor looks great and is fullscreen. However, when shooting 1080p 60fps, the display only uses part of the monitor and is scaled down. Do you know how to let the monitor know to use the full screen?? Driving me crazy (changing aspect ratio on monitor isn't working).

@@kingzabotv It will only display full screen 4K if the cameras display is turned off. It’s super annoying.

Thanks man. One question..I just got the sony a7iii, and I’ve seen people say that the lcd screen isn’t a very accurate representation of what the footage will actually look like. Does having this external monitor help with that at all, to set the proper picture profiles, exposure, etc.? Awesome vid consider me subscribed 🤙🏼
Essential kit! I added one to my A6000 rig and it soooo helped with everything.
It wouldn't matter... the viewfinder is the only display I would trust for color accuracy. The monitor would just be best for composition and focus. Before shooting always do a test record of an area you shooting through viewfinder.

Just received this monitor in the mail, have any idea why when I press record, the monitor says now recording video with an all black screen. Also I can't see my playback videos, just stills of them?? Any ideas...

Andycine is the wrong brand what do you see on the camera isn’t same on the monitor the color doesn’t match with what the camera show
