the thing with purity vanilla and voting is by the time you get any of those good rewards you'll have gotten plenty of those items already
He clearly didn't even think about that or blatantly ignored that fact. He clearly went in trying to shit on the server. In both videos he has never even TRIED to leave spawn. He just read the rules and left because it wasn't "anarchy". This time he looked at some of the lamest vote rewards in Survival MC history and says its not worth playing. You can't grind vote rewards. He's stupid for saying that honestly. You can only do it once a day, and all of those items are easier to grind for than wait 2 weeks for 2-3 of them. It was surprisingly ignorant.
@@phxnigtmare I would agree for everything except for when you say you can only vote once per day. You can vote 5 times per day using each site that is listed when typing /vote which would make getting each of the rewards much faster than if you could only vote once per day. And despite being able to vote 5 times per day, I would still agree that for all rewards except for the cooked porkchops and xp bottles when you first start playing on the server and possibly the trident that it is faster and easier to just grind for them in the game.
@@aa-sv4mq I agree actually. I was mistaken about the amount of votes. And porkchops and xp early on are a bit too useful. But not quite overpowered imo. And I didn't think about the trident, that's a good point. Overall though, not server breaking in the slightest. Let alone overpowered. I really don't know what Salc1 has against this server haha

I used to play on l2x9 when it was a good server (2019) after that lots of things happened like the server getting backdoored with a plugin, the server getting seemingly hijacked by a friend of the owner Adrian_Torpedo. The hijacker is now the official owner and also at some point 2 spanish youtubers made videos and ruined the server.

On Purity Vanilla, you just missed the Moosh "coming out" community artwork, its like 500 blocks west (I think). Its a funny story but also a busy server with years of history, rich community and shattered spawn. With a small map size (1x1 m), the voting to get renewable items is balanced because of the smaller map. Spawn Nether is nuked to bedrock. Good luck getting out of spawn!

i guess these kinds of opinions are subjective and depend on the players but personally is better for me, aint paying shit for a crappy priority queue unless the owners of the sever actually cared about the players and the server, at some point the server is going to snap so... also im poor and not that insane
@@nyan3673 Or for people that don't want all their life info stolen or their life taken by a bogus police report and SWAT sent on you. Minecraft was never the most secure even on normal SMPs, I don't trust anyone, hacks still get through in those normal survival servers.
The Votes aren't too OP imo, since you can only vote once a day getting the golden apple would still take 200 days.
You can vote five times per day, so it would take 40 days. Still not as OP as it could be, but it doesn't feel vanilla in spirit to me
they should just add another queue or give them a special waiting room for voting a long amount of days. one of the elytras tho has infinite flight, and that should be nerfed to the ground.
the votes are not much of a difference, by the time you get your rewards, youre gonna be at that level, plus the food is not really that much and the exp is literally one stack every day, which is actually nothing escaping spawn is easy as hell anyways without food, so it doesnt change much, because you can gather shit and cook kelp
HOWEVER
it would be so much better if the rewards were limited only to the queue server, which is entirely optional
an anarchy server with no hacks would be a neat idea. You have a world full of people who have to actually be good at Minecraft with no cheats to cover for lack of skill.
It would have an interesting meta because crystals would probably still be useful but you probably couldn't rely on them on their own.
I could see it work but you'd have to avoid vote bonuses and ranks.

You can't say one exception is explanatory and then another exception is just another smp. Still being allowed to grief would make it anarchy cause if it was 'just another smp' then there would be rules against greifing.

I think that on purity vanilla with the vanilla vote thing was meant to be like no spawners and items that aren't meant to be actually obtained
The main problem with purity's votes is mostly the pork chops and XP bottles, which you can get every day. The pork chops make escaping spawn too easy, since you don't even need to look for food. The XP bottles make it too easy to enchant things. I would be pretty content if those two rewards were deleted or replaced with something less powerful.
The only reason to have those rewards is to retain new players by raising their chances of staying on the server past the first day, while at the same time increasing visibility of the server on voting websites, which eventually increases the profit for the owner.
The longer rewards are kinda meh. The elytra/trident take 50/100 days of nonstop voting to obtain, by which time you can easily have already obtained them yourself.
17:14 "It kind of defeats the purpose of actually grinding for these items". As someone who's played on Purity Vanilla for over a year I can say that, minus enchanted bottles, it literally doesn't. For example, you get an elytra every 250 votes. You'd definitely get elytras long before you'd get an elytra from voting. The gameplay itself has almost no difference to if there weren't voting rewards.

I play on purityvanilla for a while and I loved the experience so far. I liked the idea of no hacks from start and I still do. I thing that the voting uses just a little bit of people and to be fair I couldn't care less about it.
Played on there for over a year. The rare stuff you get from voting is from like 500 votes so you’ll get an elytra normally long before the voting elytra

Planning on starting an Anarchy with the only hacks allowed being visual ones like X-ray.
Two curiosities about the first server: 1. It used to be WAAY bigger, but due to an incident (the map data was entirely lost) most players logoff; 2. That people on spawn were not mining the gold and diamonds because of the gold and the diamonds, they were to keep spawn clean

The l2x9 thing seems to be that the server appears to be in offline mode, meaning no Mojang authentication against bots, etc. Their solution is a custom authentication system.
Ive been a frequent player on l2x9 for a year now, i can tell you that the map had to be reset a few months back.
That first server referring to 'Cracked', with the registration means that the server can be played through pirated/etc. Minecraft that's not bought or verified, thus you can play on it for 'free' with a pirated Minecraft, etc. And usually 'Cracked' servers will have those sorts of register systems to distinquish users, because you are not connecting through any Minecraft account.

For everyone who is unsure of they Minecraft IP Address: Not every one has a unique IP address. Most of them are split up and has nothing to do with the Original location. You don't need a VPN.
And most routers have a dynamic IP anyway, which means once you turned that bad boy off and on again you have a new one.

@@orionfell It's more like approximate location, around city level I'd say, which is a problem if your village has like 100 people living in it, but less of a problem if your city has 100 thousand people living in it. Though an address can be bound to your identity if you for example are on a company computer with a static IP address. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though!

I played on endcrystal me back when it was on 1.12 and the first thing I found at spawn was a hopper full of 32k swords...
On purity vanilla now there is still voting, but the only advantage of it is better chat colors, and it's a lot more vanilla now.
There has also been a queue system implemented though.

I like Purity Vanilla and never had problem with it. And the queue is good because you can at liest do something not just wait..
I would say that the queue is actually really good. It has many thing to do like parkour, fishing, playing music, fighting, and more. You can access more areas as you get more wealth through fishing, and you can even by your own plot in the queue. There are many secrets in the queue that you can explore for and discover. Even though the queue may seem boring on the surface, with a deeper look can you see a queue server much better than any other queue server.

there's this vanilla anarchy server called minewind and it has a spawn that regenerates every 24 hours and when you die in spawn, your inventory doesnt drop
also it has like unique npc's who you could trade op items with
one of the npc's in particular is the illusioner, i just like this server cuz that was the first time i ever fought against a illusioner, and such a shame that it isnt available naturally in vanilla as some sort of mini boss

Yeah, 1b1t.org has been around for a very long time but most of its users went away since it started going offline frequently and resetting its map. The 2019 date is probably when the map was last reset, but I don't doubt it's had 30K+ users in its history. When the Rushers took over 2b2t in 2016, a lot of refugees came to 1b1t.
I still check in once in a while. I have a base about 100K out, and yes, I don't talk to anyone.

the reason for voting in PurVan is because, without duping, it's basically impossible for a new play to get Elytra and Shulkers
