on my first few days on 2b, on ventured out of spawn, and found this giant grief, with a castle, and dinosaur skull, and a ton of cool shit. i saw it and was like, oh that's cool, and went on my way. I guess i had stumbled upon herms spawn base lol

cover up. so there's a bunch of what looks like normal land, but cave noises play all willy nilly and if another creeper blows up it's an even bigger hole
In fact, griefing this base makes it better. That means the best way to grief it would be to **Not grief it**
So basically these types of builds are literally best type of builds in 2b2t because those literally last forever until builders quit

The fact that i used to play with herm when this was started i still fascinating to me. I helped building here ALOT, like the giant gold farm that once was, pumpkin and melon farm, and even the small dupestash that was in there once upon a time... Damn, this really brings back memories man...

In a way, that's the one base on that server that can't be griefed. Any attempt to grief it would only add to it, and give the people who maintain it something to do, which is the whole point of the base.

My guy, back in like summer of 2018 me and a few friends played in 2b. I cant anymore because no computer has degraded, but that gold farm we repaired. I remember some REALLY good times there. I even remember that if you were at the gold farms surrounding area, (The place after you exit the gold farm) if you were looking at the obsidian structure of the gold farm and then looked to your left, I built a small storage system. I have no clue whether it's still there or not, but such is the nature of 2b.
That would be cool if it actually happened.

This reminds me of the Arisen Faction run on the TMC Anarchy server. We built bases, but every time we were griefed, we rebuilt a bigger base somewhere else.

There is a way to make a base ungriefable - create a bot that can rebuild it for you automatically. Eventually people will get tired of trying to destroy same base over and over again. And you cannot grief a bot, because bot does not care.

You may say I did somethings similar on Constantiam the Hotel i build on Z+ 4444 was destroyed many times. It was build in mid 2017 and was up for at least may 2018... stubborn as a mule I repaired it over and over again.
With help from players I learned over the years.
Even nowadays I try to maintain the area.. but underneath it's a black hole withered and blown away by many grievers.
It's fun to see what's happening the day or week after..
The ultimate good-will experiment - the best way to tell who among the playerbase has an actual heart.
