There is no reason to constantly strive to be better in a video game. It's main purpose is for entertainment. Also, there is a huge difference between bettering oneself and being a professional gamer.

I love the perk system if nothing more than because it makes the changes in a Legend's kit way more dynamic, now the devs dont have such a hard choice to make in some situations. Players being able to choose how many charges an ability gets on occasion probably reduced the tylenol usaged of the gamemasters by a lot.

The lifeline change is a buff. Yes, Krabers are good *if* you hit your shots or even be in a position to make use of a sniper at all. But... Guaranteed gold loot and an Evo cache is much better, much much better.
Caustic regained some of his pre-nerf glory. Let the experiment begin.
Not really. Think about how often you get Caustic gas kills/knocks..... Now think about how often you knocked somebody with your gun while they were slowed in your caustic gas.... yeah don't lie to yourself. The slow Caustic gas applied was far more useful than his gas damage.... no matter how much damage it does. Gold or higher players are never going to sit in Caustic gas long enough for the gas to actually be the reason they die in combat.... the gas slow during a Caustic fight will always be a factor in why you were able to hit shots on a enemy inside your gas. Gas cans can be disabled 3 different ways.... shoot the base pre activation and it goes away. Shoot the trap anywhere mid deploy and it goes away... shoot the gas for 150 damage anywhere, anytime, active or passive, and it goes away... Caustic is THE MOST counterable character in the game... now people can also full sprint through your gas and come kill you and yall are calling it a buff? You all share the same 3 braincells I swear.😂😂😂

Haven't heard anybody talking about this but for some reason if you get the fireball with Maggie and throw it from the top of a hill, it will sometimes spit out two incendiary explosions instead of one. Total of 4 thermites basically, not sure why it does this
Anyone else think the Lifelife Drop upgrade should be 1 GOLD GUN, 1 EVO CACHE, & 1 Gold Knockshield (with maybe a 50% chance of either a Gold Helmet or Gold Backpack)?
Personally I like the gold backpack. My issue with the other cp perk was I always got the Eva which sucked compared to the other two. What if you get a gold weapon no one wants? It’s useless now compared to getting a gold backpack or helmet.

I feel banglore doesnt deserve that long of a cooldown on her ULT it does good stuff and i know it is OP for pro players but casually you get it once maybe twice per game its way to long
You can use ult accelerants. A lot of players don’t use them enough. I agree with increase ult cooldown. It balances her and if you want it faster it encourages casuals to use ult accelerants more. I rarely see anyone use them.
Sorry to say that the game is unfortunately not balanced around us, the regular players. But rather for the pros.
Ballistic's perk to reveal care packages is a bad perk, but it is decent if you don't have a combat legend in your team. Not only you get EVO out of the reveals, you can get information about the packages.
If you have a Combat legend, you can grab the 3x duration on the Smart bullet without a second thought.
The new perk is useless, because nobody will choose it over 2 smart bullets
They also missed a trick with revanant, one of his perks should of been the option to have his silence ability or get a longer jump on his current tactical

Caustic was once again nerfed far more than he was buffed. He is the easiest character to cunter (other than his Alt, which is on a 4min 30sec cooldown btw). you can shoot his traps at the base pre activation. You can shoot the can anywhere mid deploy, or you can do 150 damage at anytime to get rid of active gas.... anyone with a gun can render caustics entire tactical useless and yet he also has one of the longest altimate cooldowns in the game.... in other words, my mans is a c tier character at best... maybe high B tier/low A teir during the final ring (IF YOU HAVE AN ALT CHARGE) otherwise, he's the weakest defensive legend by a mile. Caustic was only viable because of the slow gas applied... giving Caustic the advantage because you can't dodge bullets when inside his gas, and he can outrun a persueing enemy if they get caught in his gas. Once again, Respawn gave players another reason to 'w' key into a Caustic's house and shoot him in the face... the new gas damage buff only adds 25 extra damage to players who choose to stay inside the gas for 10 seconds.... his traps only last for 11 seconds.... also not a soul is dumb enough to stay in caustic gas for 10 seconds... let alone even 5. Caustic gas damage has only ever been relavent when enemies are STUCK inside his gas... which is one of the rarest things to accomplish in apex. Respawn keeps over nerfing Caustic everytime he receives a small buff and yall eat it up every time. Its laughable.

I didn’t realize Seer can actually track people from almost 100 m away. If you look at the blue ring, it will point you in the directions then when you get within, ranged the heartbeats start.
I stopped playing for a little over a week, midseason break hit and i came back to play rev. Wtf, the change to no shorter tac time made rev's ultimate feel so underpowered
One question about Seer, I thought his Tac didn't cancel Lifelines res, did they change it on purpose or is it a bug?
Im glad ths smokes dont do damage any more. It was annoying being killed by a smoke putting on a bat behind cover.

I was playing today and my rank got reset from plat 4 to silver 2 in between games. I assumed it was a visual glitch but no I’m legit back in silver 2 after grinding entirely through gold😂
The speed boost for connecting with a knuckle cluster is worthless. As is the ability to see ordinances
Ballistic is pretty good. You didn’t mention the buff to his sling weapon. It becomes useless towards endgame but picking up a free white gun off drop is just free kills/damage. And finding an ult accel would be even better giving a gold gun. I’ve found success soloing in plat with him. He’s definitely not meta but I hope he gets buffed soon. I would put him at B-
Also, ult range is now 90 meters so teammates will have it pretty much whenever you pop it.

They have something against anything fun. Punch boosting looks way too fun and harms nobody let's remove it-respawn
I've only heard people raving about the Caustic gas ticks going up. But its barely any more damage. I don't get why people are freaking out about it. 4 ticks of gas is only 4 more damage than what it was before
This. People aren’t realising how small of a difference the damage increase actually makes, it now takes 11 ticks instead of 13 to down a player from full health, and no one in their right mind stays in it that long. The slow was the strongest thing about the gas, and now people can slide jump out of it by the time they’re realise they are in it.
Huge nerf IMO.

What tier would you place Revenant after the nerf? I know you said hes still strong but, I don't think you commented on the ranking.
Probably A tier for Pubs and Ranked, his pick rate has already dropped some, but there's a case he's still an S tier legend

Honestly, I just wish Revenant's ultimate was on a longer cooldown (1 minute is cut in half cuz everyone will take the -30s cd reduction on the lvl 2 upgrade). I also think Conduit's ultimate either needs to not last as long or shrink the size of all of the area it occupies.
Ramparts ultimate for example would be a good nerf

Rev is still and absolute menace as you said, I think it would be great if they removed his ultimate regaining all its hp on knocks. It’s just so unnecessarily op and conduit put with him is just brain rot no fuks given ape everything and just win, takes out such a huge part of the brains in my opinion, used to be your shield broke? Okay fight with team or pop a bat while you teammates are fighting close range? Now it’s just your shields broke? I want to play a game like apex, with none of the gimmicks and with just the shooting and movement. I feel this game has gotten to the point where it's just all about abilities and less on FPS.
