Personally I think XG3 is the most refined of the entire Extreme-G series. The styling and design were well-done, it ran at a smooth 60fps, and I love that the soundtrack was done by Ministry of Sound. I only wish there were more levels. Don't know if this is a bug or just a version difference between the PS2 and the Gamecube versions, but the electronic advertisements/billboards change more quickly in this video than they do on my Gamecube.
This game seems to have a realistic feeling of speed, especially with the awesome feeling of the game's sounds fading when going over 700mph, the speed of sound. And the Vixen bike sounds like it's jet-powered unlike the Phase One bike which may be powered by a supercharged V10 engine.
this is definitely my favourite race track and music in the game. I was considering doing a "let's play XG3" and I think your vid has inspired me to do so.
Now if only someone would buy the rights to this series and re make it like they did with the other Acclaim game Turok. It would be amazing if they managed to do it right.

I never understood why some people like cheating. If you cheat, you're not trying. You're just seeing pretty pictures go by on the screen. The whole IDEA of games is to require some sort of skill or input from the player.
Mom: "Why does the sound keep silencing out like that?"

I exploded like a firecracker every time I broke the sound barrier. I admit I sucked at XG3 but I LOVED this game anyway.
@RushFreak2 XG3 is definitely the best in the series. Would love to get an HD version of it.
