XG3 Siris Canyon Break Sound Barrier at 250G class

Yes, you read correctly, I break the sound barrier using a 250G engine, boost, rear blasters, and shifting my weight accordingly (when going up, pull back; when going down, push forward). The result is what you see in this video, and I am shot instantly to first on the first lap.

XG2 is the ultimate racer in my collection. Never played XG3, but from the looks of it they went all out on the customization. Not as stylized as XG2, nor does it have the same sense of speed (except when you broke the speed barrier. Always a blast).

I was racing earlier using the very same bike, and instead of using the rear blasters for the boost i just got the extended shield capacity and threw the weight of the bike around at the appropriate time... and then dumped about 80% of my shield in on the downslope of the loop. Managed to pass the entire pack in that brief 5 seconds of supersonic speed.

Would strong electromagnets strewn throughout the track help in keeping the vehicles from flying off course? I wouldn't be surprised if the technology was made readily available by the beginning of the 22nd century.

I remember playing this track for the first time and just gunning it on that hill then wondering what the hell was going on then realizing, yup I broke the fin sound barrier. Of course I was like.. 13. Good times

It's actually a little hard. First, i need to have a plasma thruster, infinite shielc cheat and to race on Sirius Canyon. When the systems come online, I fire the thrusters and boost at the same time, and i have to do the weight distribution.

I am glad to see that some people seriously play this game, I feel so alone....The XG series is my favorite for racing games. Is there a community somewhere about this game ?

The last time I have ever seen an online community for this game was when Throwback Entertainment still had a forum. There was a section for Extreme-G that got a few posts every week at most. There's not a lot of us around.
