I agree. There are so many douchey car channels. Mike is among the last few I have stayed subbed to because he's not trying to be mr cool guy or have a holier-than-thou attitude. A $100k car doesn't make you special. I have a super car in the garage and I would never walk around like my shit don't stink like some of these dudes on youtube. Mike keeps it real, he's humble, and he's honest. I really enjoy his content and refreshing attitude.

ive always done 72 months when getting a vehicle to keep the min payment down just in case a huge financial burden comes through can i have to dump a lot of money quickly but normally ill do double or triple payments on a normal month

He could’ve paid the car off with cash, but even paying 4.9% (he can refinance later) will allow him to use $70k for investments, like paying to produce great content, that will generate more than a 4.9% return (usually at least an 8-9% return). That’s why even millionaires have a ton of debt and stay rich

If it were that simple to just loan $60.000 at 4% interest and turn it into a investment with 9% return everybody would be a fucking millionaire by now. I saw that too but the graphic doesn't specify a time frame. The graphic also says that it's just his estimated revenue. I'm pretty sure Mike doesn't make this much per month just going by the financial video he made after youtube cracked down hard on how much they pay content creators. But I could very well be wrong but that's fine. haha
Taxes broo... that amount youtube shows you is NEVER taxed. And its actually something he doesnt really talk about too. He said he gets like $2000 a month from the raptor but like i said, its not taxed yet. He must get hit with a huge bill at the end of the yr.. or unless he just doesnt pay lol

If you’re just driving a vehicle to drive a nice vehicle it’s a bad expense... but when you’re driving something nice to make sure you’re being noticed to generate revenue for a living, it’s a justifiable expense for your business & career.

Scotty B there’s no “problem”.... spend the money if you want. It’s just considered a bad financial expense when it’s not being used to help generate income. In other words... it’s just costing you more than it’s making you in return... Vs. someone who is using that vehicle specifically to generate revenue. In which case it’s carrying its weight and benefiting you.

Av987 this dude makes $20k a month 😂 if he only put $5k down it’s because he’s intelligent for keeping the capital in his possession and NOT the banks. You can’t use your money to reinvest and make more of it if it’s all sunk into a truck. It’s a very simple business principle.

4.7 is way too high, you should be able to get a lower rate from a credit union or a bank and refi. I just bought my 2017f150 on ford credit for 5.8% just to get a discount, then pay the first payment and refinance to 2.4% saving about $40 per month
this is not meant to be hate, just hopefully some ideas that might save you some money. I certainly couldnt afford that truck and I'm happy you and your wife can be so fortunate. I am glad I do have my new truck though and I have to admit your old videos with your older truck gave me the knowledge to buy it... though every stone chip it's getting hurts...
prime interest rate is around 10.25% in south africa. 4.7 would be a blessing.
