    I was LUCKY ENOUGH to have in 1992, a 1990 CMRA worthy GSXR 750R!! I was 20 yrs old and weighed 140lbs soaking wet!!! I rode it on the streets of southwest Houston texas!! It was soooo loud with D&D exhaust and so fast and JUMPED railroad tracks like a supercross dirt bike!!! Oh well!! Hope y’all reading know my joy with yor own memories!!
    Cheers to all good people

    Revin Kevin....back when we (yanks) had GP riders that ruled the paddock. Now we got nothing. Maybe the King of the baggers will produce some quality riders, like back in the good days of AMA Super Bike.

    Why is the frame brazed vs tig welded?

    • @mickeymouse4897
      @mickeymouse4897 Před 8 měsíci

      More than likely it's Tig Bronze brazed, gas brazed would ruin the tubing strength.

    • @1950Bonanza
      @1950Bonanza Před 29 dny

      Chromoly tubing is strong, so they make it thinner to make it light, if you tried to weld it, you'd just blow through it, or over heat it. Brazing is below the melting point of steel, thus does not change the metallurgy of the tubing. Besides, it looks trick as f***! :)

    This is not a XR 69 nor should it be classed as a classic racer when it is fitted with a modern Suzuki Bandit 1200 engine not a GS 1000 from the nineteen seventies.
