I'd go lipless over squarebill but agree on the other two. Could also go buzzbait just to have a 12 month topwater presentation in there but the spinnerbait can be bulged/waked for a similar presentation.

More on shallower, natural waters, please. The NW has some reservoirs, but tons of natural lakes.
Next chance I get to go fishing, I will give them a try....sometimes I get tunnel vision and get stuck on one lure for way too long...I need to be more versatile and change lure options often when the lures I use aren't working...

Hey thoughts on using snap swivels for squarebill crank baits and or spinnerbaits?
I wonder why it is that a spinner baits works so well still & many other baits that have been around long time don't? Any ideas about that?
No doubt spinnerbait and chatterbait. Maybe Randy could do a video on crankbait bills.
A weightless fluke is my favorite shallow water bait. You can skip it into anything and get it out through anything.

Spinnerbait is king and very versatile if you know how to use them. Sure love to hear they have fallen from popularity for so many anglers.
Finesse dominates shallow fishing these days in my opinion. They get the MOST pressure of any fish in any lake but under the right conditions I agree.
A spinnerbait in winter? I accept a small jig but spinners and cranks will just bounce off the water until it hits a snowbank
With 8 fish caught on the pro events in 2023 I think I can find a better resource.
