Yhwach is quite a genius for completely emotionally manipulating Yamamoto this whole time. First, he was Yama’s arch-enemy basically. Then he started off by killing his Lieutenant to piss him off, and then massacred the Seireitei to infuriate him even more. Yama was fighting with pure rage here; doing the most to humiliate and prolong Yhwach’s death and make him suffer, rather than put a swift end. The moment real Yhwach appeared and stole tired Yamas Bankai, Yamamoto realized and fully accepted defeat and the consequences of his foolish actions, without even moving or attempting to defend himself. RIP to the most badass Fire user in anime, the “Strongest Soul Reaper”, Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni.
This only goes to show how much of a beast Yama-ji is. Even Aizen knew he couldn't take Yamamoto in a 1vmany fight without fighting dirty, which is why he had to create an Arrancar whose sole purpose is to keep Yamamoto's flames sealed
yeah, he was thinking he was breaking Yhwach all this time, but it was quite the opposite. What Yama did was pretty messed up, and they say Yhwach is the bad guy.

It was Soul Society arc Ichigo that did him dirty. No Zanpakuto, he just shoved him in the air with his palm after Sasakibe unleashed his Shikai. I agree, his Bankai is beastly

Yamamoto vs Yhwach was what i was looking forward to most from this arc, it delivered and then some. When Yamas Bankai released and all his flames went into his sword, the sound team really made that feel like you could hear a pin drop. The silence was unnerving. The only thing i wish was that the smoke that was shown when Bankai released was more defined.
I mentioned in my reaction how Yamamoto's flames are legitimately 15 million degrees celcius, and not fake flames like amaterasu in Naruto that can't even burn a guy in armor. Yamamoto's bankai is insane. The manga does no justice compared to this anime right now.

Bleach has just been so good, i honestly did not expect the quality to be this high when it was announced the anime was returning. Never in my wildest dreams.. It just makes that 10 year wait feel worth it, it really does. Episode 6 and 7 of TYBW arc are peak Bleach, peak anime... The music is unbelievable too, its the MVP and probably always has been for bleach

This episode shows again what a menace Aizen is. The soul reapers, for 1000 years thought Yhwach was dead. For 200 years they thought the Quincy were eradicated, and here THE man. Not only did he already know all of that was BS, but SOMEHOW he even knew of the name "Wandenreich" which wasnt the name for their realm they used before. And all of that, presumably, without the Quincy knowing

Remember Aizen's mouth is supposed to be sealed? Therefore he is talking to Ywach through kyoka suigetsu. That is why the chair is not there.
Something to blow up the community....Kenpachi is much older than Shunsui. In the flashback of the first Gotei 13, Unohana had the scar from 1000 years before, meaning the Kenpachi battle had happend much before. Secondly, when Yama talks to Shunsui as a boy, he stated with the story of the picture that it happened a long time before. Therefore after Unohana died, he's the oldest shingamin in the Soul Society...Not above where Squad Zero stays, that is not the Soul Society.
Ngl, this has to be the best arc in Bleach, like ever! Even the Arrancar doesn't compare to this, i know the arc is still new, but so far it hasn't had a single dull episode.
