It's always good see new people from new countries , welcome to World Friends 🇨🇳 🇯🇵 🇰🇷
Right? I felt lately like only people from EU and US were allowed. Good to see new faces from Asia!

Bro I have a war with Korean and Japan ok lm Chinese and I like Korean and Japan but I a little hate on Korean because I have a fake friend and she's Korean🇰🇷 🤬🤬🤬
Sad that it wasn’t Kotoha 🇯🇵, Jane 🇨🇳, and Hyejin 🇰🇷 the OG trio but I was happy that we get to see the 3 countries again.
I miss them too.
Illa knows them and where are they from. But I am miss them too.
I miss them 😢
Kotoha is back in Japan i think.. not sure about Jane.. but yea i miss them 3 with Hyejin.. but i like this trio too
The OG trio was Heejae, Jane, Kotoha though.
If only the governments could get along like these four. *Heavy sigh*
Instead, the governments passively force their citizens to "take a stance" and hate other countries and people 🙄
哈哈
I thought the same thing, so nice that they give us an example of people from countries that are on really bad terms
@@joseanl only governments. Normal people are fine with each others.
@@taotao98103 maybe when they go to the country but actually Asians don't really like each other. If you were to play a game like League on an Asian server, you would always see them fighting with each other. I think it's especially like this with the elderlies.
From early on I suspected that C was Japanese but the one thing that confirmed it for me was that she put her palms together before eating, like in a brief prayer. Japanese do that, like giving thanks for the food.
I guess it from her sitting style. Only Japanese do seiza.
@@shastasilverchairsg They also have the most rules when it comes to etiquette. I'm pretty sure having your hashi (chopsticks) in front of you and pointing to the side is distinctly Japanese.
When doing this, she was definitely saying いただきます in her mind.😉
I’m Japanese but I was sitting in Chinese style watching this video 😂
for me from Japan, their differences are quite obvious 😂
neighbor I m Chinese
@@chenbin4750 I’m waving from Japan
@브리 so Lucky
@브리 oh
i m Chinese,In my opinion the difference is obvious
Welcome to World Friends Sumin 🇰🇷 , Niki 🇨🇳 , Uka 🇯🇵 and Illa 🇺🇲
Illa has been on before! Around 5 months ago on a few occasions.
Like no
Niki is 100% 🇰🇷 And sumin is 100% 🇨🇳 like fr
This one was super interesting because they are so close in geographical proximity that sometimes it can be confusing to tell each of these nationalities apart. Cool findings.
a lot of cultures in east asia are influenced by chinese cultures especially in the ancient
Yay .. East Asia !! 🇨🇳🇰🇷🇯🇵
this was so fun to watch! i managed to guess them right after the pointing at themselves part but differences in the sitting style and so on was really interesting to see too
Nice! I hope to see more from Asian countries 🇰🇷🇯🇵🇨🇳🇹🇭🇲🇾🇲🇨🇹🇼🇵🇭🇰🇭🇸🇬🇱🇦🇲🇳🇻🇳
私は日本人なので、日本人の方はすぐにわかりました!服や髪型が韓国風でも、なんとなく日本人だな〜ってわかりますね!
I am watching these channel videos two days straight 😅 hella addicted now 🥴
Wonderful post. Loved this one.
Nice seeing new faces, always pleasant and polite. Thanks 🙏👍
The japanese girl made the "itadakimasu" before eating.
It's definately possible to guess their nationality just from their appearance. At my first glance, just from A's makeup, I was like she 100% has to be Korean. As a Chinese male who don't much about makeup, I don't know how to describe, but there certainly is a discernable difference. C's clothing appears to be more on the Japanese side, which made me think she's Japanese.
B and C's makeup both look kind of Chinese to me, and the clothing style of both A and B could be Chinese.
C's makeup looks so Japanese no? as an HKer A and C basically look exactly like the stereotypes I would think of from their countries
A has small eyes, Korean. B has bright eyeshadow and red lipstick, typical tik-tok make up. Japanese just by elimination
A has very distinct Korean facial features (& together with the make-up style), which made me guessed she's Korean too.
🤷♂️🤷♂️
A lot of Koreans and Japanese have smaller eyes but high key their faces look more harmonious than other Asians. I think their features fit the golden ratio more, and their side profiles look good.
I could find that C is Japanese before C started eating noodle. She put her hands together before eating , and maybe said, “itadakimasu.”(いただきます)🙏
It's a word WE say when starting breakfast, lunch and dinner due to thank everything which gave us their life and gifts from the lands. (We aren't often join a religion, so we don't have a particular religious pray style....)
That's how I identified her. Itadakimasu!!
You would be surprised how many countries have that tradition )
itadakimas is actually simple buddhist prayer.
even Christians do that prayer
@@user-Void-Star Even it is, most people don’t take it as religious thing just like English speakers saying “Oh My God” without thinking of the literal god most of the time.
Ella are very pretty and smart girl. I'd no idea who was who except for girl from Chinа. She has more european face but it's only guess.
The third one is kinda look like Rosè from Blackpink.
Sumins English was very good sounding. It didn't really sound like she had much of an accent
She has that American accent, I guess she has studied abroad , most probably in the US.
Actually the reading part was different. For the Korean person, they held the book at the bottom of the spine and the other hand to flip the pages ,while for China, you hold the book on the opposite sides and slightly move the thumb to let the pages flip
I'm Japanese, but when I eat ramen, I use ceramic Chinese-style spoon and eat it like a Korean in this video.
And I think there are many Japanese who sympathize with me.
The guessing and analysis was super interesting
I always waiting for asian girls 😳
Ha! I lived in Japan for long enough that I picked up the habit of holding the bowl while eating and was doing so when I was watching this
Uka reading was the dead giveaway for Japanese. Sumen's Korean giveaway was how she ate her noodles. Nikki really didn't have much tells since her styles matched both Korean and Japanese. So it was by process of elimination that I guessed Nikki was Chinese.
Wow that's incredible that she's actually has the correct answer on guesses just by following gesture clues... she wasn't even given the A,B,C options... totally amazing.
The japan girl like black pink 🌹 rose ☺ ☺ 😁
Nikki is gorgeous 😍
I love how B was trying to put bother her elbow on the table to eat noodles than changed last second 😂😂
The C girl is so pretty, all are pretty but she stood out to me the most ❤️
Nice to see Ella back on this channel and 3 new girls are cool. 🤗
I could tell a bit about their appearance but wasn't sure haha. I got it when the Japanese girl put her hands together before eating.
You can't judge by looks
Ripped eyes, big eyes, and small eyes exist in all three countries and each person is different.
Japan and China do a lot of eye augmentation surgery, and Korea does a lot of double eyelid surgery.
You can't tell the three countries apart by their average appearance
@@MrYou-wf1df well actually, if ur from any of these countries u r likely to guess correctly. u can tell. if ur not from east asia its very hard to tell but im from japan and knew instantly
日本人は本当にわかりやすいね
毕竟是学生
I LOVED JAPANESE PEOPLES . I AM BENGALI .
Is it just me or the American girl also has Asian roots?
I can tell just by their first gestures. And if I trust myself at the start by their makeup, I'd too right as well.
When the Japanese girl started speaking I was so confused cause she is speaking Korean not Japanese😂
They all speak Korean since they live in Korea.
I'm Chinese. I immediately know the answer just after seeing the three girls' faces.
for me it was just the facial features that gave it away. also the girl from Japan put her hands together to give thanks for the meal and stuff (I think) that also. but mostly just the facial features
Great to see Illa back!
Are these people all flight attendants? They look pretty and handsome, and they are multilingual.
Ok, at 4:10, I can already tell by the way they eat their noodles. A is Korean because she uses the spoon. B is Chinese because Chinese also pick up their bowls as a polite way to eat. I am trained in China by my parents to eat with bowls in my hands or it won’t be polite. So C is Japanese by the way she would say “itadakimasu” with her hands.
*me who’s chinese but uses the spoon and doesn’t pick up the bowl*
but seriously, the rest of my family picks up the bowl AND uses the spoon
한국인은 처음 부터 티가 많이 납니다.
그릇을 바닥에 두고 먹기깨문입니다..
한국인은 그릇을 ㄷ들고 먹는건 예의가.없어 보입니다
For Korean case, we do not grab spoon and chopstick in the same time. If you do that as Korean, that's uneducated method of eating.
I only know the first one from Korea from her eyes shape. Like letter n. Then 3rd girl do the itadakimatsu before eating, well that's Japanese.
From the looks I'd've guessed Ella was from Finland; lots of people in my country who look just like her.
At 2:20 you can see girl A nodding along to what Ella's saying.
hi Illa I am your fan from Australia :D
all four of them are beautiful but i was astounded by niki (b), she is so pretty
It has been so long since any Jane/Hyejin/Kotoha video that I actually forgot this channel is Korean 😅
10:25 Is Japan the weird one?
Always has been!
But that's why we love Japan.
Nice channel, I am glad you show us the difference and similiraities of different countries, because every culture has his own unqiue people, culture and history and it is a must to preserve it, no matter what nation you are from. Many greetings from Germany 👋🏼😃
love the video
Thank you for the video. I always joy watching yours videos. 😊
As a chinese I can say that I was able to distinguish them at first sight, the Korean and the Chinese girl were obvious, the Japanese girl was a bit harder to distinguish as she doesn't resemble many distinctive traits that I can think about Japanese people
我看到那个二郎腿才看出来是哪个🙃

the moment i saw them i knew exactly where each one of them is from
the Japanese girl look slightly like rosé
I love World Friends chopstick videos. Sumin uses Italian Grip except she uses classic swing instead of underswing. Niki uses Idling Thumb. Uka appears to use something between Idling Thumb and Standard Grip. Cheers.
Wow, looks we have a total of 6 Americans in World Friends
椅子に座ってる時に内股なのは日本人が多いかな。あと耳たぶの形で韓国人とわかることもある。それと日本人の女性は運動する時と自分の家以外ジャージ上下は着ない。
The girl from japan she really look like rose from blackpink the voice to 😮
when I was eating noodle/raman, I slurp the hell out of the noodle, and sip directly from bowl for broth😂
I feel like I remember something with the way Japanese eat their noodles, they try not to "cut off" the noodle? So like, they try to keep the entire length of the noodle intact because it represents having a long life? I don't know if I'm remembering totally wrong or if what I heard is even accurate, but to me that was a difference I saw between how B and C were eating. B bit off the noodles at a certain point, whereas C used her chopsticks to gather up the whole noodle. Does anyone know if this is correct or maybe is it old fashioned or something? Idk.
I love everything about Japan for example their food , habits and much more . All thanks to Anime
These four girls are so very cute! 💕💞💕
💖💘 안녕하세요
There is a country right down China having used chopsticks for 1000 years and having their own chopsticks’ features but always be forgotten, Vietnam. Just hope that there will be videos including them too in this kind of comparison
the chopstick placement gave it away haha
i like C,she is so cute
Next time do Vietnam Philippines and Thai
Wow I rarely see the American/English guest in this channel speaks in Korean 😆 I was very impressed!
They should've talked in Korean more (it's interesting!) It's okay if they're not fluent, it could be a way for them to practice to be more fluent!
In another video she mentions that her boyfriend is Korean and she has lived in Korea for 4 1/2 years. I imagine she and her boyfriend use English and Korean interchangeably. Im definitely envious of how well she speaks it, I've been trying to learn Korean myself and just cant seem to get it down lol
I remember when Kotoha showed how the Japanese must pick up chopsticks properly and the Japanese girl did it just like Kotoha taught. Well, that and the hands gesture that everybody has seen from the Japanese.
I’m Korean, I slurp food but hate when others do it 😂😂😂
I know its not exactly, but C looks like Rosè from blackpink lol, she's cute. 💟
Countries that need the Confucian cultural circle to come to a gathering, China, Japan, South Korea, North Korea and Vietnam
I was able to tell by physiognomy. A+C had more of that rounder face shape but C was slightly tanner with slightly bigger eyes so I knew C was most likely Japanese. B's more prominent cheek bones I see more often in northern Chinese. A's got that very average Korean girl look so that was easy.
The traxk suit gave it away for the Chinese girl for me
I got them all right!! wooo me. I knew it after the noodles.
Three countries in East Asia have different cultures and lifestyles. Wonderful talk!
日本人なので、特徴をみてすぐわかりました。
This thumbnail is like how to find Japanese ramen restaurants in the states
I’ve never seen Japanese adds grabbing that much noodles in my life
Illa is smart and I would love to see her in more videos
If there is one thing I've learnt from this it's that watching someone eat noodles makes me hungry for noodles
I am Japanese, and Japanese people are very strict about how to eat and how to use chopsticks.
There are times when I get scolded for leaving food behind, but what about people in other countries?
I’m Japanese but people around me have not been so strict the manner of eating and using chopsticks.
Illa's etiquette and mannerism has become very east Asian.. 🙏 🌸
You only need to see the chopsticks once to know this
America US USA, UK London England, Australia, Canada is English.
China Chinese, Korea Korean, Japan Japanese.
Philippines - Filipino, Malaysia - Malay, Indonesia - Indonesian.
More Difference Languages is same and not same.
3:48 Damn .. makes me hungry 😛😋 🍜
That kinda Japanese floor-sitting style of girls will always look so sweet to any country's girls! Also, I heard some health benefits for women if they sat like that said by my Indian friend! Maybe it's true or not but it still looks fabulous! 😋😋😊😊
Is Niki a model or something? She's like off the charts attractive
Ethnically Chinese but we sometime use Korean long spoon at home and I use the spoon while eating noodle cause I don’t want to pick up the whole bowl, it’s hot 😂😂
The shape and length of chopstics vary in countries, but maybe that's why they had them all use the same kind to make it less obvious. Placement of them was a dead giveaway for Japan though.
Also B hesitating to turn the pages 😄 because she knew it would make it obvious she was Chinese.
You will notice that Japanese will not bite off their noodle in the middle but slurp it all the way.
It's actually polite to use hand gesture for other people in Japan too. But when pointing oneself there is no need to show respect to own, so we use finger.
The white girl is heavenly beautiful 😍
Thanks a lot
obviously, the first girl is from Korean, she has typical korean face, but there is a bit harder to tell the other two apart
Where are these videos recorded?
East Asia are almost same manners
Wow their Korean is pretty good, probably been staying and learning there for several years, since I've never seen any Chinese who (focus on) learning Korean (as compared to learning Japanese) maybe there is, but very rare... lol
i just looked at them and knew based off of a stereotypical facial structure of these countries especially a and b
