possibly. The older you get you learn to get the other jokes, but a lot of the slapstick is pretty good for younger kids.
And then when you get to college age you regress back to the kids humour again (personal experience + anecdotal proof)

I love how these kids understand the concept of just because something is older, does not mean it is outdated or no longer great. Animaniacs is merely one out of many timeless classic television shows that debuted in the 1990s (a lot in the 1980s and decades prior too).

Which is great. And makes it funnier that so many comments here are whiny adults doing the exact opposite, claiming no modern cartoons can ever be good.
Animaniacs is wonderful, but it is not timeless. It has a lot of references from the 90s that date it. Luckily, it doesn't rely on pop culture references completely and is still great on its own merits even if the pop culture references don't land. But timeless it definitely is not.
Meanwhile, the 80 and 90s whiny kids are all spitting on new shows that they don't even know
Well, much of its comedy is topical to the '90's, which is why a reboot with updated pop culture references is such a good idea in the first place.

The funny thing about Hello Nurse, though obviously a running joke is how hot she is, was that she was a good female role-model. While she was very attractive, she was very independant, intelligent, and usually got the last laugh.
I love how kids actually gets how smart is this show. That's why we need to stop underrate kids
Animaniacs was, and still is one of my favorite shows. It does not matter how old or new something is, but the quality of the show, mainly the writing.
I have watched Animaniacs as a teen and loved it, and i love it today as an midage man.

I never got when people said that. I feel the older people get the more they forget the comprehensive thoughts they had in elementary and middle school. I'm not exceptional in any regard but I'm a young teenager and can piece together a relatively formal reply. 4th walk breaks are obvious, we all know what they are and notice them. Idk, ig people just underestimate kids because there are a lot of dumb ones of us. Had to explain to a kid that just because the post date on the All Star music video says 2010 doesn't mean it was released then. He didn't even budge when I mentioned it was in Shrek. That turned into a tangent but I'm not surprised by these kids' comments

I’m 10 and practice piano for 3 hours a day, and none of that trash pop. The sad part is when I see an overweight kid, not in quarantine. Quarantine gives you a pass to be overweight, but having school doesn’t allow you.

Animaniacs is one of those rare shows where it's a pleasure to go back and watch it as an adult because you suddenly get the jokes. Like, I didn't realize how GENIUS "Variety Speak" was until I watched it again as a 20-something XD

He was practically a baby and sometimes his speech was really hard to understand. Now look at him! Grew up right before our eyes. Also, he's so intelligent. Man, these kids knew what the fourth wall was way before I did. And they're rebooting it? Geez nearly every cartoon I grew up with is getting that treatment. The Rockos Modern Life movie, Rugrats, Ducktales, etc. At this point, I wouldn't be shocked to see Darkwing Duck or Tiny Toons come back (if they already haven't).

Tiny toons and Animaniacs was the best cartoons when I was growing up in the 90s.
Me too, even though I'm an early 2000's kid, not a 90's kid. But I discovered those two shows back in 2009 and 2010, respectively, when I was in 3rd grade.

If you look closer they aren't paying attention to the camare, but rather at a different angle of the screen. Meaning they could be reading most of what they are informed to say. I mean seriously, what kid would be able to critic shows that way?

Rob Paulsen is probably my favorite voice actor of all time. Yakko singing the countries of the world is only a small portion of his talent.

Pinky & Brain were really cool. I liked that series. And thanks for reminding me where these 2 showed up first. i always thought that they were part of the Tiny Toons. But it really were the Animaniacs.

It ~was on NF US, but then Hulu got the US rights so it moved there earlier this year. The 9:00 mark includes the exact months the series was on NF last year in a trivia box overlay. I didn't kno about the reboot tho, that's cool. xD

This is one of those shows where the target audience is like kids and teens but pretty much every age watches it. I love it.
You should do a Freakazoid one. It's a shame it was only two seasons, but such a gem. I love VRV for having it.
