The vertical garden here that Joe Swift built was soon a mess. Don't try it at home! He totally over planted it for the cameras (against the off-camera advice of his horticultural expert), the hose system didn't work (water pressure even with a pump was inadequate) and my neighbour Ben and I had to dismantle it after a few months and replant it with half the density of planting. Watering from the top partially works but cut gullies so I enlarged the plant pockets and now water from the front.
I love the project. I was thinking how you might recycle an old mattress this way. Using roofing paper on the back so the water doesn't all leak out. Not sure if it would work but it's worth a try.
would you do a follow up video and show how it looks over time? It looks great and I am modeling it for inspiration, (although changing it as well)- but what I wonder is how have the plants fared over a year or longer? Thanks!
I feel that vertical gardening is similar to torture to me. You end up throwing plants out when they outgrow those crates. Unless you have plants that don't grow.

What company makes the crate system that was used for this wall?
This is the most beautifil wall garden shown on youtubew so far.
Awesome - I guess that these 'bookshelves' could be made from old wooden pallets and other waste materials - I wonder if anyone has used car tyres?
Wow so amazing
Was there any information given on the company and the name of the product, in this crate system?

They'll only grow as big as the place will allow them to grow.
