  • With the XC60 mid-size crossover Volvo is changing the game in terms of what buyers expect from a luxury SUV. In this video Ryan takes his family to San Juan Island for spring break vacation. Can this pretty SUV also handle the rigors of family travel? Or is it just another pretty grille?

My wife and I just picked up a T6 Momentum with everything but the Burmester system, air suspension, and seating package. I’m honestly in love with it and love with self driving feature. It’s a zippy little car, from 0-60 it’s decently quick for a midsize you can definitely hear the supercharger whine during takeoff.

I test drove this car and was sold on it before we left the parking lot. The power steering is perfect and the ride smooth. Loved the cream interior color too .

From $44k to $63K? That's some jump! Why not make options available on "lesser" cars standard? Then have the fancier options available a la carte for those who wish to add them. It's hard to pay for heated seats when they are standard on cars that cost less than $20k.

Great review but I wish you talked a bit more about dynamics. I get that this is a family car, but when I am driving alone.. how does it feel on a winding road?

Great review, Russ. Of course, a trip to the San Juan Islands could be a wonderful experience driving a 1970 Pinto. :)

One opinion: on saying the motors torque, show us Nm also with a subtitle like Doug de Muro

So, how does it handle mild off-roading? Will it get you to the trailhead? What is the ground clearance with and without the air suspension?

Nice review. Now that they're into the 2020 model year have you considered a taking another look to check on the tech that you had issues with? Supposedly Sensus is much faster booting and it sounds like they may have worked out some of the gremlins from the automated safety features (though maybe not for sliding through corners off road.)

We recently tested Sensus on the V60 and it is much improved. czcams.com/video/Pisk8HLI4cw/video.html

Hey! This is the 3rd video I watched from your channel. Simply loved the first 2, with the Outback and the V60 Cross Country reviews. Loved this one too, until I have realized there is no off road part to it. Why?! Would be curios to see your answer. Hope you take it as a constructive feedback. Thanks!

Unfortunately, there wasn’t an appropriate location available on the island and at this time we hadn’t yet been doing off-road tests for every crossover.
