New Shock Absorber from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ASHA00162
Shock absorbers help your vehicle stay stable and safe. Signs of worn out shocks are knocking or bumping noises, loose handling, or a bouncy or bumpy ride. The typical service life of a shock absorber is 50,000 miles, depending on conditions. TRQ shocks and struts are engineered to fit your vehicle perfectly. This video shows you how to install shock absorbers on your 2006-10 Dodge Charger.

If you guys are having trouble getting the shock out, take off one of the sway bar end link bolts. It'll drop the cradle a little bit, and give you more clearance to take it out. My car has nivomats and they're a pain to compress.

Does anyone know the torque specs for the lock nut on the shock? Someone is saying 110ft lbs but I don't think that is correct. The shock nut and stud is too small for that kind of torque I would assume

Just because he didn't say it, these are aftermarket struts.. no you do not use the strut mount from the old strut (that's the big piece of plastic that goes over the old strut).

Will this work on a 2006 charger srt8? Also any recommendations to doing this at home? Mostly when supporting the rotor for the spring tension.

So isn’t that just the strut? Aren’t the shocks the spring looking thing or is the strut the strut and shocks as one?

The front of these cars have struts. (Shock in spring combos)
And the rears are sperate shocks and springs
