New Shock Absorber from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ASHA00162
Shock absorbers help your vehicle stay stable and safe. Signs of worn out shocks are knocking or bumping noises, loose handling, or a bouncy or bumpy ride. The typical service life of a shock absorber is 50,000 miles, depending on conditions. TRQ shocks and struts are engineered to fit your vehicle perfectly. This video shows you how to install shock absorbers on your 2006-10 Dodge Charger.

If you guys are having trouble getting the shock out, take off one of the sway bar end link bolts. It'll drop the cradle a little bit, and give you more clearance to take it out. My car has nivomats and they're a pain to compress.
Is that the same technician from 1aauto video?
Hi did you have a video about the rear control arms ?
Gracias amigo tenia u. Dodge charger 2018 y los amortiguadores duros no se meneaban nad ay mucho ruido al manejarlo
I had a problem removing the old one as it was very hard to compress it
Does anyone know the torque specs for the lock nut on the shock? Someone is saying 110ft lbs but I don't think that is correct. The shock nut and stud is too small for that kind of torque I would assume
Just done my struts and shocks...ride feels so much better! Great video...now I have to figure out why I hear so much metal clanking when I go over bumps...I'm going to redo my whole front end an thanx to you itll be easy
It may be your swaybar link
Sway bar links or the bushings goodluck
It was the upper control arms for me
Check your mounts. I had to replace the mounts also because I got the same rattling noise
I was having the same problem it is your sway bar bushings do not change your whole front end you're wasting money
Does the car have to be raised in the air or can this be done by jacking it up
Will this work on 2006 charger srt8 ?
Just because he didn't say it, these are aftermarket struts.. no you do not use the strut mount from the old strut (that's the big piece of plastic that goes over the old strut).
How much would this be to do front and back ?
Is this the same for a 2012 ??
Will this work on a 2006 charger srt8? Also any recommendations to doing this at home? Mostly when supporting the rotor for the spring tension.
do you put buffer on new one?
Thats what I was thinking
Here is my like 👍 (Didn't want to mess up the current 420 likes tally)
So isn’t that just the strut? Aren’t the shocks the spring looking thing or is the strut the strut and shocks as one?
+John Watkins This video is for the rear shocks. The spring looking things are actually called springs. Thanks for watching our video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Springs on this vehicle located in front. Changed my whole front suspension (20pc) with the help of TrQ video’s. 💪🏽💪🏽 w
