- We scored a smoking deal on a Yoshimura RS 2 (thank you) this thing is frickn LOUD!!!! not sure if the FMF is louder havent heard one on a Brp in person. Now all I need is the power bomb header and we will be good. My scale must be off but I seen the RS-2 was heaver then the stock can. I was trying film the install diy but I didnt have the tripod out and the vids were up side down. well get it on the DRZ. If you were thinking about one the but dyno feels like shes a bit snappier but we all know slipons are just slipons.

It sounds great from hear brother. Like the looks of it as well. Interesting it weighs more. I have never put that much theory in the weight of the equipment when i know I could stand to loose 20 pounds myself.
Since I build bows on the side, I have one of those small scales you use to weigh luggage, that may be easier to hang on stuff like that as well for more accurate scale weights? not sure though, worth a thought.

I bought an XRs Only Oval Pipe, and that thing is pretty loud. I purchased a quiet core for it, so we’ll see after the install if it tames it a bit.

@@mrsmel269 I’ve been waiting for the quiet core for that pipe for over a week, and it hasn’t even shipped yet! They’re slow!! That’s my only complaint about XRs Only, otherwise the bike is making good power, and the quality seems to be there on the parts I got so far. Stay with me here and see what happens with the exhaust… Hopefully it won’t be much longer! 🔧
look at clark or accbess tanks sadly the oem ones dont get you very far. i had a 4 gal clark on my 02 and went with the 5.8 on the 21 the 4 gal was good for 160 miles and the 5.8 is 220 ish . i moved my main jet to a 158 also when i checked the valves @ 1k miles jetsrus good site too . cant wait to check out your girl all hooked up .

That's why I use an analog scale you don't have to plug it in for change the batteries it doesn't use electricity and it works instantly

The best aftermarket pipe is the XRs only the oval type. With the megaphone "expansion chamber" it really makes a difference. OEM pipe is much better than most aftermarket pipes after some mods. Remove the kryzman spark arrestor (requires welding job) then you replace the baffle by honda atc250r baffle. It just sounds like a big honda thumper.
thank you for the info faissal8997 . this was a super cheep cl score and i was going to get the fmf power bomb header but some info and people i chat with on thumper talk had dyno numbers for the stock header and it looks solid . i got brake lines to pup on her and then im going to keep riding the snot out of her. hope your weekend is going good and your out chasing right now.
@@mrsmel269 you're welcome. Those old school big singles are better with the stock header unless you had major changes to the cylinder head and an aggressive cam.
I think the decibel and level features on phones are pretty much garbage. They're might be okay if the tools are back at home or got lost in the house fire. That is an amazing add-on for your bike.

thank you Bobby for my elevation i went with a 158 main jet . ours came with a 152. i can tell you for sure i wrote it down. this slip on really made her come to life. i wanted a power bomb header but i was reading on thumper talk that the stock header might be better . hope you were out chasing some today for the both of us ;-)
What is your elevation and what pilot jet did you go with?? I’m under 3000 feet in elevation here in pittsburgh
