    Sounds great. I went through all the jet mods. It took me a few tries to get it to get it just right. I did order the baffle and spark aresstor because I leave so early in the morning. Enjoy brother.

      Yeah getting the jets right can be frustrating. I put the baffle in mine to since it is a bit loud. 🤘🏼🔥

    Just got my big gun slip on last week. I have stock 2016 XR650L. I’m in Fresno at 300’ elevation. The instructions say I need to jet it or might overheat & ……WTH….. repack insulation every 15-20 hours of ride time!
    Now I’m hesitant to install. I’m still all stock. Even got smog equipment still on. I’ll need more research
    Oh… nice job by the way. Thanks👍🏼

      Yeah the jetting stuff can be a little tricky, everything I read didn’t even get me close to where it needed to be. I’m at 1,100’ and the jetting was nothing like it recommended. I would suggest calling the jetting company you got the kit from and see what they suggest, then go from there. As far as the repacking I find it hard to believe you need to repack that often. 🤷‍♂️ Thanks for watching! 🔥🤘🏼

      @@CoyoteChris I’m also at 1,100… what size jets did you end up using?

    • @CoyoteChris

      I ended up going back to the stock jets that were 152 main, 50pilot and I adjusted to 2.5 turns out. The needle I had to move the clip to the 3rd slot.

    Is the big gun logo just a sticker on the silencer?

    • @CoyoteChris
      @CoyoteChris  Před 2 měsíci +1

      It is a sticker, it seems to be one of those heat stickers that holds up to the exhaust heat.

    Don’t trust it my xr650l I modded it without the clamps it been 2 years an the big gun pipe connecting connecting to the header destroyed it over the year I’m in need new header I’m guessing it was the vibration ate threw the header pipe
