    You’ve sold me on Mérida. I have a flight credit, so I’m just trying to figure out the best time to visit for 2-4 weeks to feel out exactly how I will like it. But I’m ready for a new start

    I am sad I can't find more content like this, encouraging single mom travels. It makes me sad so many single moms are made to believe their travel dreams are impossible because of their circumstanes, when I think if anything, it's a great oppurtunity! Teaching your child about the world, being independant.....more single moms should travel! And more single moms should share their experience about it to inspire other single moms

    You're really brave to move to a new country without really knowing anybody there. It's definitely an adventure living in a new country and adjusting to a new culture and way of life. Living in Mexico in my opinion is a slower pace of life and i feel like it's way less stressful than living in the U.S. I'm Mexican American and thinking about moving to Mexico probably Guanajuato since i have family there when i'm older.

      Thank you so much! We loved in Guanajuato City for about 5 months. I agree. Mexico is definitely a slower pace of life and that is one of the many things that I love about it.

      Hi , you know what I have a narrow down till one exactly as I want to travel to. I wanted to start out with probly some islands in the Caribbean's, some countries in Africa, Europe also some of Asia . Right now I live in Wisconsin and I have traveled to every state in the US accept about 6 of them . Maine , New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island . The end of this year Gods willing I would have visited those States . Then next year I would set out to visit a couple countries. I plan to visit Mexico, because eventually I would like to settle in a place that is financially and home for myself and the kids. I am not to scared of traveling alone , but I am away of the risk and being careful. I am originally from the islands and I left when I was 19 and have been living here for years now. And as a single mom I love watching you just pick up and explore. I came to America I love America my kids were born here , but We always talk about having the house the cars the white picket fence, however what we don't talk about is how exhausting it is to maintain it especially being a single parents. And I know that there is alternative living in different parts of the world where you can live on a fraction of the course. I do not have it all figured out I just know my intuition and everything inside of me tells me to go. I want to end up in a place that have a community . I think it's very important when you are reason kids that you find a sense of a village or community. Some of the things that you was speaking about living in Mexico has caught my attention. So I am intrigue to visit. Thank you so much for taking time to respond to me. Hopefully if it's meant to be we would meet up. I try to get into the group but I haven't heard anything yet. 😊

    What is your co parenting schedule like? I’m the non custodial parent but I want to move out of the country and have a home base but travel around when I have my child. Does your daughters’ father come visit y’all in Mexico?

    • @AmoyaShante
      @AmoyaShante  Před 2 lety

      Non existent for us. I tried for 5 years but unfortunately he is too mentally unstable to remain in contact so we have no contact. I have full custody. If I had an ideal copayment game relationship, I would definitely be open to the other parent visiting or our daughter splitting time between both homes. That is easier since we don’t do traditional schooling.
