what you said about using other peoples samples is so true, like i mean even finding the correct sample from the library which fits the context properly is also a skill

I love making my own sounds its so much more rewarding to create sounds from scratch, than to use loops and samples. Samples certainly have their place in a song, but making you're own leads, and basses is so fun!
