It became public knowledge after Amy and TJ's affair leaked that he also had another affair with a previous producer of the show. The producer is no longer working there and but TJ can still be castigated for having an affair with someone in leadership and creating that distraction. GMA right now doesn't want them both on because of what an internal and external distraction they have created and will continue to create.. cause you know viewers will be over-analyzing every word and gesture. And can you imagine if they were to break up, what a distraction that would continue to create as well? One of them (AT LEAST) is gonna have to go and my bets are on TJ just because he had that affair with a producer. If Amy remains, it will not surprise me if her contract DOES NOT get renewed once her time is up. They both just tackied up GMA some more, I'm sure those responsible for the show want them gone. ABC just has to legally cover their behinds in doing so. TJ first, then possibly maybe Amy.

In the headlines TJ‘s wife said she was blindsided caught off guard and that she thought they were going to work things out. When she got suspicious Of Amy she hired an undercover agent, she just didn’t see this one coming. TJ‘s wife thought Amy was a true friend, she was welcomed into her home she also had a relationship with her daughter so that’s a little shady and low down don’t you think. This also brings negativity to the network and to the other anchors who don’t conduct themselves in that manner, they don’t want to be embroiled in this kind of mess.

Still think Gayle should have been canned for that interview about Kobe Bryant after his death. Was in such low class. Lucky for her Covid came and the lockdown after that and the story quickly melted away. She holds no weight in my world. Can't stand to watch her. The distraction is all the attention it’s getting, best thing would have been for both of them to confront it head on and make a statement on-air in front of the other co-host and acknowledge the relationship and move on. They don’t owe an apology or explanation to anyone but their spouses.
Funny thing. The show is called, “What You Need To Know”. I don’t need them to announce their relationship status. The show completely loses me with their absence. I guess ABC can eventually find replacements. TJ & Amy will be fine in entertainment industry because they are personalities. That and their chemistry was the appeal for me.
