This lady and her commentary, especially about the movie chamkila, has stopped me from buying newslaundrys paid subscription so far. I want to support independent journalism, but not when it comes with a hint of worthless independent pretentious critique who thinks she is some kind of a royalty.
But when things change at newslaundry and I don't have to sponsor this lady's work along with getting some quality journalism, I will right away buy a paid membership to newslaundry.
8:11 Schumacher didn't have an accident while racing F1 cars. He was on vacation and it was a ski accident. He was trying to protect his son when his head hit the rock. That apart I don't think the both of you would enjoy the movie Ferrari bcz to enjoy this type of movie you need to have some idea about Ferrari and racing

Aavesham is so good! ❤ first time I went to the theater for a Malayalam movie. Totally worth it!
Really like Abbas...but missed Abhinandan! And yes! Chamkila was a good film. I felt sorry the way he was dictated terms perhaps because he of the class he belonged to. His murder was not even investigated...He must have had some magic that he did several housefull shows all over. A guy who just wanted to make music, entertain the masses didn't deserve to die like that...I found it very sad...As for the wig, it didn't bother me. Love your show as always ❤

It's a series, and still going on I think. I have seen upto some 6or 7th episode. Mostly dramatic and shows the life of Japanese people during war time and especially how it affects the Samurai family and all. The dedication, loyalty, royal life, Christian and Portuguese influence in Japan at that time, Japanese traditions, social hierarchy... are well detailed with stunning filmography and bgm. Not for everyone. 😊
Watching this show after a while. The lady’s commentary remains as annoying as ever but this is a matter of personal preference, so will let it pass. But the lack of preparation on the topics you are going to “podcast” is seriously sloppy and not acceptable. Will stay away from a paid subscription of newslaundry as long as such is pretentious crap is on your platform. Else please move these kind of shows to another channel called “newslaundry Sastha” or something!
