I love how they subvert genre tropes by having the seemingly sweet redhead be the femme fatale working with the villains while the blonde bombshell is actually the sweet love interest.
I love the scene when The Mask sings Cuban Pete. It's so funny and very Broadway-esque. I really really love the bit toward the end where he appears over the bar and pulls a Clint Eastwood with that line from Dirty Harry. "Now you have to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya....punk?"
This was always one of my favorite Jim Carrey movies from my 90's childhood!🤣
This was definetly part of that era of 90s comic book movie adaptions that were amazing, not the other half of adaptions that fell short, like the sequel 'Son Of The Mask', even tho i'd definitely watch your reaction to it just cuz sometimes a bad movie is still worth reacting to just for comparison's sake. That and it was Wild!
I love that he dresses up as a cowboy and acts like he's getting an oscar.
I think it's more about his confidence. As the mask he's more confident.
From what i remember of the cartoon (which 100% did exist) Milo is definitely the best part of anything to do with The Mask.
Amazing film
this movie i used to get a lot of references to because my first name is Dorian just like the villain lol, classic movie tho certainly
i really enjoy watching movies with this channel and all of yall 🥹❤️
4:50 You can thank one man. Even if it was his day off.
"Bueller? Bueller?-"
Ah! Of course. How could I forget that? 😂
They just don't make masterpieces quite like this anymore. It was one of a kind back when, and even more so nowadays.
Milo is the MVP of this movie
This movie was one of my childhood favorites. I remember that videotapes were highly sought after, but at the time, at least in my country, the original ones cost a lot and there were no video rentals in my area, so television broadcasting was desired in order to be able to record and review it. I remember that then, not too long after, a well-known magazine in my country attached this film and other blockbusters on videotape and don't miss the opportunity to catch it. At the time I saw it very often, I knew it by heart. They made a sequel animated series of this film, where they resumed the character of Peggy as Stanley's female sidekick. I remember there were a couple of crossovers with the Ace Ventura animated series.
I ended up looking up the cartoon, and I remembered it immediately. Although I forgot so much of this movie, I do remember it being my introduction to Jim Carrey, and I thought he was absolutely hilarious.
@@kahlareacts It happened to me too: it was the first film that introduced me to Jim Carrey, even before Ace Ventura, which I later discovered. I noticed that my parents' generation (late 40's and late 50's) hated Jim Carrey, they didn't understand his comedy, even if, in addition to a generational problem, I think there is a cultural problem, since that kind of clownish comedy doesn't reach much to those of my country in that registry area (obviously I'm generalizing). But I don't want to launch into specific analyses, since I don't have the skills, but I remembered how I've always liked Jim Carrey, but my parents not at all.
I love Jim Carrey he was my favorite Comedian growing up & the 1rst time i went to the movie theater 🎥 as a kid was to see "Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls"(1995)
I recommend you "Ace Ventura"(1994)
"Dumb & Dumber"(1995)
"Liar Liar"(1997)
"Me,Myself & Irene"(2000)
"Fun with Dick & Jane"(2005)
Jim Carrey at it's Best 😋
I definitely remember "Liar Liar" because it was one of my most favorite Jim Carrey movies growing up.
@@kahlareacts he's something else lol
8:47 » that bad-ass not much hair tiny ponytail for the big villain 😆
😂
8:42, I think he was Hector in Breaking Bad, and a landlord in Ace Ventura.
Nope, different people
That's right, the dog was the biggest Star in this and the only one who was able to stole Jim Carrey the show.
Btw, I hope you still have some room on your list for Deniro's masterpiece "A Bronx Tale" (1993), would be very happy to see a reaction from you to this movie sometime, maybe even this year.
Nice reaction Kahla this one of my favorite movies I hoped you had watching it also I subscribed to your channel you have 73 subscribers now👍
Thanks so much!
@@kahlareacts Your welcome👍
He found that mask on a pile of wet garbage and just put it right on his face without even washing it.
I KNEW LOKI HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS !!!
It all makes sense 😂
Listen, being a good partner dancer (swing, salsa, tango, etc) can absolutely boost a man's attractiveness. I'm not saying it'll take him from a 4 to a 10, but it'll at least bump him to a solid 6
Can you please react to"True Blood" it's an HBO "R" rated adult fantasy
Milo :3
You're pretty cute.
