- The fire snake (black snake experiment) remains one of the most visually stunning science experiments possible. Using only sugar and baking soda, a seemingly impossible column of black carbon springs out of a pile of powder. We have new content coming out weekly, so be sure to find that subscribe button!

Forget baking soda and vinegar! As far as baking soda experiments are concerned mix it with some sugar and introduce heat! - Zábava
This is EXCELLENT!!! Actual science and fun and asking interesting questions and trying different materials to monitor efficacy! I have never done this experiment but have always wanted to pull it out at a Halloween party! Great video :)
Better done outdoors eh!!!❤❤❤
cool
Is there anything I can substitute the sand with? Why is sand needed?
The sand is there just to provide a safe substrate that won't melt or transfer the heat very well. You could use a frying pan lined with tin foil. It may not work quite as well, but you would have the same effect.
You have puppies?
Do you have a phobia? If so what is it? I'll see if I can incorporate it into a science experiment! ;)
Frogs.
Im really not afraid of much..... I use to repel out of helicopters but Im a little afraid of heights...... but yet I still forced myself to do such things as a younger man.. was it pier pressure? was it bravery? I would not do it today, so I try making sense of it...
