Mary Beth I'm so happy to see your Video! Thank you for taking us to the Restore I have never been to one. My girlfriend who bought a fixer upper which is all she could afford applied for help from Habitat for Humanity. They put siding on her home with a new front door and did some Landscaping. In return they asked her if she would donate her time to help someone else in need which she gladly did. Such a great organization where the Community help each other out! Like you you've seen some of their Homes built for low income families and they are modest well built home under the supervision of a Contractor and the people whos home is being built help build it. Sorry for rambling on but when I get talking to you I feel like I'm writing a friend. =) +
My neighbor helped outfit Habitat for Humanity homes years ago. I went with her to add furnishings and final touches. Wonderful that your girlfriend has benefited from this great organization. 🥰

I recently volunteered to be on our local Re-store's board. Our store is quite humble compared to this one. It also needs more space; this one is amazing! All the many people it takes to run it are volunteers except for the manager. It is a wonderful resource for our little rural area.
Some of the tables and chairs are great. Timeless is better than trendy!
Woahhh yours is huge. I went to the one by me for the first time last week. Got a couch, armoire and rocking chair for $80. Still can’t get over it. Can’t wait to diy my awesome purchase

@@LadyMaryBeth i volunteered at the Restore many moons ago and yet i cam still walk in and it feels like i was there yesterday .I think the store personnel has alot to do with anybody in retail .My Restore staff know everyone by name and are just amazing.Cant wait too see more Restore vlogs from u many blessings

I am enjoying the viewer comments on some of these items. Have you seen what they are saying about the long, drop leaf table? The lamp shades are from a local manufacturer that sells to Ralph Lauren and other high end brands. I need to go again soon. Hope you are well!

@@LadyMaryBeth U know I believe u would have the best time .New Zealanders are super friendly and it is a known fact the further south u venture in our country, the friendlier people get.I am in the 2nd last city, at the bottom of the South Island or geographically the second last city to the South Pole.

Maybe one day! Not sure I can work through all the patterns in a year of filming. I think the number in Texas is at 27 and 7 or so in Germany.

The ReStore locations in Toronto (there's probably a dozen) have the most incredible vintage items....Murano lighting, english china, Irish crystal and amazing furniture. The prices are much less than those in this video.
You had me at Irish crystal. ☘️ Would love to shop your local Toronto ReStore. Sounds like they receive estate and individual donations. The one I have visited in Louisiana is more like yours.

Well, I have that same chevron frame and love it. Also have one, different shape, in green. You have amazing stores. Here in Ohio, let's just say, our stores are not even close to what you gave i.e. Restore, Goodwill. We have one nice antique mall here, but that's it. Lucky you!! That was a great store. The drop leaf table could have been a "wake table" if about 6 feet long. Drop leaf to make it useful for working on tasks when not being used to accommodate the dearly departed in a simple coffin for the pre 1920 home wakes.
This gives a whole new perspective on the drop leaf table. Thanks for your insight to “wake tables”. 😗
If you have the right space for it, something like the conference table would be great!

Kudo's to the manager at this ReStore, great merchandising, it looks like a retail outlet. The one near me (south of Houston) is a dump! Though they occasionally have a treasure, everything is filthy including the store itself.
You could visit the North Houston location. See the viewer comment regarding lighting ware on this thread. Worth the trip!

The lightingware was quite a find. Another viewer purchased lamp shades from here and found that it is a local supplier to high end brands such as Ralph Lauren.
I paint an it always amazes me how many art. Works on offer ,I did lots of tapestry’s myself sadly I can’t do that anymore due to arthritis xxxxx
